Candidates who will be appearing for the HSC Board exam will have to take two languages as compulsory subjects. Students will have to obtain at least 35% in each subject to pass the exam. The Maharashtra 12th exam is held for 100 marks, wherein 80 marks are allotted to theory and 20 marks to practicals/oral/project. There are, however, a few subjects such as Geology, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, agriculture science and technology and animal science and technology, for which exams are held for 70 marks and practical/oral/project are conducted for 30 marks. The different questions asked in teh exam will cover the entire syllabus of Maharashtra HSC 2019.
The Maharashtra HSC 2019 will be conducted from February 21 to March 20, 2019. The Maharashtra Board 12th will be held in two slots of 3 hours each. The first slot commences in the first half ( 11 am to 2 pm), while the second slot starts in the second half of the day (3 pm to 6 pm). The exam will begin with the first language English and end with Child development and agriculture science and technology.

Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has declared Maharashtra HSC result on May 28, 2019 at 1 pm for all the three streams separately - Arts, Science and Commerce. Students will be required to enter their roll number as mentioned in the admit card along with the mother's name to access their Maharashtra Science result, Maharashtra Commerce result and Maharashtra Arts Result 2019.
