The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) closed the CBSE compartment form with late fees on June 19, 2025. Thereafter, the CBSE board came up with the CBSE compartment exam dates for the 10th and 12th classes. The board released the CBSE compartment form 2025 on May 27. The online submission of the CBSE compartment application form without a late fee was open from May 30 to June 17, 2025. Candidates had to submit the application with a late fee between June 18 and June 19, 2025. This online application facility was made available for private candidates only.
CBSE Compartment Forms Out for 10th, 12th Class
Thousands of students in the Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) stream had planned to add subjects like Mathematics to pursue engineering, economics, computer science, or BTech via JEE. With the additional subject exam cancelled, their options are now limited, forcing many to stick to medical pathways or expensive private colleges.
Regular students enrolled in CBSE-affiliated schools must submit their compartment exam forms through their respective schools. The board provided the facility to fill out the CBSE 2025 compartment form after the declaration of revaluation results for Class X/XII. Only those students who have not cleared the CBSE 10th and CBSE 12th board examinations were eligible to apply for the CBSE Compartment examination 2025. The board conducted the CBSE compartment examination from July 15 to 22, 2025. The detailed compartment exam schedule was released on June 26, 2025.
