In an official notification issued by CBSE in 2023, the board decided not to release the CBSE 12 merit list of candidates. This decision was undertaken keeping in view the sprawling unhealthy competition between students. The board will, however, issue certificates to 0.1% of students who achieve the highest marks in each subject. We are expecting the board to follow this suit and not declare the CBSE board exam toppers 12th this year as well.
The CBSE board has not revealed the names of the toppers. However, many students from private schools have emerged as top scorers. One such student is Navya Shukla from Amity International School, Mayur Vihar, Delhi — a PCB student who has achieved 97.2%. Numerous students across various regions in India have accomplished this remarkable feat. The overall pass rate in the CBSE Class 12 board examination 2025 stands at 88.39%.
In the following section, we have mentioned some school-wise CBSE 12th toppers names and details of marks secured by them.

Changing from the CBSE board to the Odisha CHSE in Class 12 is generally difficult and often not ideal due to differences in syllabi and examination structures. Most boards, including Odisha CHSE , do not recommend switching in the final year of schooling. It is crucial to consult both CBSE and Odisha CHSE authorities for specific policies, but making such a change earlier is advisable to prevent academic complications.
