About stage 1 exam
Some state-level authorities releases the NTSE Form 2022 . Stage 1 admit cards will be released 15 days prior to the exam date.
The NTSE 2022 Stage 1 exam date is released through official website. After successful completion of exam, NTSE answer key will be released by state authorities on different dates.
NTSE 2022result for stage I will be declared along with the cutoff in soon after the exam. Only students who qualify for the NTSE exam 2022 will be called for the stage II exam.

Every state sets its own eligibility for the NTSE stage 1 examination. However, stage 2 NTSE eligibility will be slated by NCERT. Aspirants should satisfy NTSE eligibility criteria at both stages to appear for the examination. Read below to know the NTSE 2022-23 eligibility criteria before filling the applications.
NTSE Stage 1 Eligibility Criteria
In order to appear for the NTSE stage 2 exam, students should qualify the stage 1 or state-level NTSE 2022-23 exam with the minimum qualifying marks.
For the Continuation of the Scholarship
Candidates must be appearing in the class 10 exam for the first time.
Some states require candidates to score a minimum of 55 % marks in class 9 to apply for NTSE exam 2022.
Indian students studying abroad in Class 10 or equivalent class can directly apply for NTSE stage II. They must obtain at least 60 per cent marks (in aggregate) in class 9th.

State-level authorities are releasing NTSE application form 2022 for the stage 1 exam. Some states are accepting application form through respective schools, while some are releasing NTSE registration 2022 form in online.

The exam pattern for stage 1 and stage 2 remain the same. However, the difficulty level of the test may vary. The NTSE 2022-23 exam pattern contains the details of the number of questions asked, marking scheme, the time allotted and much more. The exam pattern for both stages of NTSE is given below.

States release the NTSE stage 1 admit card 7-10 days before the exam. NTSE admit card stage 1 for some states is released by respective DGE or SCERT on their official website. While some states will provide stage 1 NTSE 2022 admit card in offline mode through respective schools.
Students can download their NTSE admit card 2022 from the official website or they can collect the same from the respective school authority.
NTSE admit card 2022-23 will include important information such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, and timing and exam centre address. Students must remember that they will not be allowed to enter the NTSE 2022 examination hall without the admit card.
Students need to carry their admit card and a Photo ID proof at the NTSE examination centre. Check the below-given list of ID proofs. Bring anyone in original and a photocopy of the same.
Stage 2 admit card
The admit card for NTSE stage 2 exam 2022 will be issued online on the official website of NCERT in May 2022. All those students who qualify for stage 2 NTSE exam 2022 must download the admit card. No student is allowed to enter the exam hall without admit card.

The NTSE answer key for stage 1 will be issued by different SCERTs on the respective official websites. Various coaching centres have released the answer keys for the exam to be held in February 2022. The answers of those keys may vary. Hence, students are suggested to check official answer keys too.
Students will be able to download the answer key for MAT and SAT papers to verify their answers and calculate a probable score. The NTSE 2022 answer key will include the correct answers to each question and paper set.
NTSE answer key is the document which mentions the correct answers in front of the question number. Students can use it to know their probable score by the time result is released.
Download NTSE Stage 1 Answer Key 2022
NCERT will release the stage 2 answer keys for the reference of students that can be downloaded from the main website of NCERT.
The NTSE 2022 result will be made available in the form of a merit list. Students will be able to check their scores, name and roll number in the result file. Students will have to check for their registration number or roll number or name in the merit list.
Only students who qualify the stage 1 will be able to find their name listed in the pdf and will appear in stage 2 of NTSE exam. The result of stage 2 will be announced in September 2022 in the online mode. Students will also be able to check the NTSE cut off along with the result.
Students should know that no request for revaluation or rechecking of the result is entertained. They will have the access to their scanned OMR sheets, which will be uploaded on the NCERT website along with the final scoring key so that they can calculate their own score.

Every state releases its separate NTSE stage 1 cutoff. In order to qualify for the exam, students need to obtain the minimum NTSE cutoff marks as specified by the exam conducting bodies. See on such score you can easily qualify NTSE stage 1 very less chances of being shortlisted for stage 2 because the expected cut-off for shortlisting of candidate for stage 2 from Karnataka is 150-160 for General category.
