NTSE Karnataka 2019 -  The NTSE 2019 admit card will be handed over to students by the school authority. Candidates are advised to collect the same from their respective school after October 22, 2018. Department of State Educational Research and Training (DSERT), Karnataka released the NTSE Application form on August 16, 2018 in offline mode only. The last date to submit the form was third week of September. NTSE Karnataka exam 2019 stage 1 was conducted on November 4, 2018. National Talent Search Examination Karnataka exam 2019 is open to only class 10 students of Karnataka. Students aspiring to participate could apply for Karnataka NTSE 2019 in offline mode. The application form of NTSE could be obtained from the Block Education Officer (BEO). NTSE is a two-tier exam, conducted in two stages With NTSE stage 1 being a state level selection round for NTSE stage 2. Students qualifying in Stage 1 NTSE Karnataka 2019, will be selected to appear in NTSE 2019 stage 2. National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) will conduct NTSE 2019 stage 2 on May 12, 2019. What’s new in NTSE Karnataka 2019

 No Language Test – Unlike earlier years, language will not be a part of the examination this year. The exam paper will now consist of Mental Ability Test and Scholastic Ability Test.

Duration of exam - Examination will be conducted for 4 hours. MAT and SAT both will be conducted for 120 minutes.

How to apply for NTSE Karnataka 2019

 The application form of Karanataka NTSE 2019 was made available offline from August 16, 2018. Candidates had to get it attested from school officials after filling in all requisite particulars. The steps to fill the NTSE Karnataka 2019 application form are given below:


NTSE Karnataka 2019 - Application Process

The application form of NTSE Karnataka had been made available offline. Candidates could obtain the form from the school officials or the State Liaison Officer.

  • Note that the Karnataka NTSE admit card 2019 will also be attached to the application form

  • Fill all the required details on the application form and the admit card.

  • Attach a recent color passport size photograph on the application form of NTSE Karnataka and the admit card.

  • Reserved category students have to attach an attested copy of their caste/ category certificate to the application form of NTSE Karnataka 2019.

  • The application form and documents attached with it must be attested by the principal or head of the institute where the candidate is studying class 10.Students will be provided the admit card/ hall ticket by school officials at least 21 days before the exam.

Candidates could also submit the filled in and attested application form at the state liaison officer for Karnataka before the specified last date of submission.

NTSE Karnataka Admit Card 2019

 The admit card is an important identity document. Candidates appearing for NTSE Karnataka 2019 must remember to fill the NTSE Karnataka 2019 admit card along with the application form and submit it to the state liaison officer. Candidates will be provided the NTSE Karnataka 2019 admit card by school officials atleast 21 days prior to the exam.


 How to prepare for NTSE Karnataka 2019?

 While NTSE is a scholarship exam, preparing for it along with the class 10 studies may be a bit daunting. Candidates must therefore plan their studies such that they come out in flying colours in all exams. To do so, it is important to have a knowledge of the exam pattern, syllabus and study from them. The second important step is to practice with previous year papers and sample papers to get a grip on the subject and understand how to attempt the exam.


NTSE Karnataka Exam Pattern 2019

 New changes have been announced for NTSE 2019 in the exam pattern as well as duration of the exam. Karnataka NTSE 2019 will now have two sections namely Mental Ability Test (MAT), and Scholastic Ability Test (SAT Language Test or Language Comprehension Test will not a part of the examination henceforth. NTSE Karnataka Question and Sample papers 2019

NTSE Karnataka sample papers 2019 will make students familiar with the exam pattern and time duration. Practising with previous year question papers as well as sample papers of NTSE Karnataka will allow candidates to know the type of questions to expect, guage the difficulty levels as well as understand time management for the actual exam.


NTSE Karnataka Syllabus 2019

NCERT does not prescribe any syllabus for NTSE exams. However, it does release a PDF titled ‘Learn about the National Talent Search Tests’ which contains information about the two tests, MAT and SAT. Mental Ability Test is meant to evaluate candidate’s logical reasoning, and problem solving skills. And, Scholastic Ability Test is for testing textual knowledge gained in Mathematics, and Science, and Social Science by candidate in their school. Sample questions for both tests are also available in the PDF.


NTSE Karnataka Answer Key 2019

The answer key for NTSE Karnataka 2019 will contain correct answers for the questions asked in the exam. Students can recheck their answers using the answer key and calculate an estimate of their scores for the exam. While the official NTSE Karnataka 2019 answer key will be available tentatively in November 2019, several leading coaching centres like Aakash, Resonance, FITJEE will release the answer keys based on their expert opinions.

Karnataka NTSE answer key 2019 is expected to be available for download on websites of coaching institutes such as Akash, Resonance etc by the second week of November, 2019.


NTSE Karnataka Cutoff 2019

Students can expect cut off for Karnataka NTSE 2019 to be released with the exam results in the last week of January 2019. NTSE Karnataka cut off 2019 will be declared separately for general, SC, ST, and PH category applicants. Candidates can however check the previous year NTSE Karnataka cutoff to get an idea of the marks that are required tobe eligible for the second stage.

NTSE Karnataka Result 2019

DSERT, Karnataka will declare the results of NTSE Karnataka 2019 in the last week of January, 2019. NTSE Karnataka results 2019 will display the overall scores of the candidates as well as the scores obtained in MAT, SATsections of the question paper. The list of candidates selected for NTSE 2019 stage 2 will also be released along with the NTSE Karnataka result.


NTSE 2019 Scholarship Details
