NTSE Kerala 2019 - State Council of Educational Research and Training, (SCERT), Kerala will conduct NTSE Kerala stage 1 on November 18, 2018 for class 10 students in the state. The admit card will be released online 10 days prior to the exam. The link to check the same is given below . Candidates can download their NTSE admit card by entering their application ID and number. NTSE Kerala Application form was released online on September 10. The last date to deposit the application fee was September 24 and the last date to submit the NTSE Kerala application form was September 24, 2018. NTSE 2019 is conducted in two stages, 1 and 2. NTSE 2019 Kerala stage 1 is conducted to select participants for NTSE Stage 2. Based on the results of NTSE Kerala 2019, students will be selected to participate in NTSE 2019 Stage 2, which will be conducted by NCERT on the national level on May 12, 2019. SCERT, Kerala was supposed to release the NTSE Kerala application form online on August 20, 2018 but because of destruction caused by floods, the release date of Kerala NTSE application form got postponed to September 10. The application process was completely online.

NTSE Kerala 2019 - Eligibility Criteria

Stage 1 NTSE Kerala exam 2019 will be conducted for students currently studying in class 10 in Kerala. Also, Open Distance Learning (ODL) students below the age of 18 and those writing exam for the first time. The final aggregate score excluding languages, should be 55% or more in class 9th final exams.


NTSE Kerala 2019 - Application

Application for Stage 1 NTSE Kerala 2019 exam began on September 10, 2018. The last date to apply was September 24, 2018. Applications for NTSE Kerala exam 2019 were accepted online only. To apply for NTSE Kerala exam 2019, candidates needed to follow the steps below:

  • Go to official website of SCERT and click on link for online payemt of NTSE fee 2019.

  • Enter the required details and press submit.

  • Chose from the available payment options: Credit card/ Debit card, internet banking/SBI Branch- challan mode.

  • If you choose challan mode, be sure to get a printed copy of the challan and submit your fee at any SBI Branch.

  • After payment of the fee students will get a SB collect reference number. Students can fill their application form using the SB collect number starting with ‘DU’12 hours after payment of NTSE Kerala 2019 exam fee.

  • After filling the required details press submit and the application process is over.

Documents Required- Photo, PwD Certificate, Caste certificate, OBC-NCL certificate, BPL certificate (as applicable)


Application Fee - Rs.250 for General category and Rs.100 for SC/ST/BPL category.


NTSE Kerala Answer Key 2019

 Official answer key for stage 1 NTSE Kerala exam 2019 will be available online on website of SCERT, Kerala. Answer key to NTSE Kerala exam 2019 by renowned coaching institutes will be available on the website of various coaching institutes by the first week of November, 2018.


NTSE Kerala Sample Papers 2019

 NTSE Kerala exam is conducted in a fixed pattern each year. NTSE Kerala sample papers are solved question papers of previous exams. Candidates appearing for NTSE Kerala exam 2019 should prepare with these sample papers to get familiar with the exam pattern and its time duration.

NTSE Kerala Result 2019

Results for NTSE Kerala exam 2019 will be out between January 2019 to February 2019. Based on the results of NTSE Kerala exam in Stage 1, students will be selected to take part in NTSE stage 2, 2019. NTSE Kerala result 2019 will contain MAT, SAT, and overall scores of each candidate.


NTSE Kerala Admit Card 2019

 Students appearing for NTSE Kerala exam 2019 will be able to download their admit card/ hall-pass from the official website of SCERT, Kerala in the last week of October or first week of November, 2018. Students will have to enter their application ID, and application number to download their admit card/ hall-pass.


NTSE Kerala Exam Pattern 2019

Stage 1 NTSE exam 2019 will be divided into two tests, Mental Ability Test, and Scholastic Ability Test (SAT). There will be 100 multiple choice questions each in MAT and SAT, and a total of 200 questions in the examination. No negative marking will be done in NTSE Kerala 2019.

Students selected in NTSE stage 1, 2019 from states across India will compete for merit scholarships at NTSE stage 2, 2019. NTSE began with the aim to reduce students dropout rates in various schools across India. Under NTSE programme 1000 scholarships are awarded to top ranking students each year.
