NTSE Kerala Form 2024

SCERT will release the stage 1 NTSE application form Kerala. Students can fill NTSE Kerala 2024 form through the official website.

Documents Required-

  • Photo (in .jpg or .jpeg format, maximum size 60 kb,
  • PwD Certificate, Caste certificate, OBC-NCL certificate, BPL certificate (as applicable) in pdf format and size should not exceed more than 500 kb.

Application Fee - Rs.250 for the General category and Rs.100 for SC/ST/BPL category.

To fill the NTSE form 2024, students need to follow the steps below:

  • Go to the official website of SCERT i.e. scert.kerala.gov.in and click on the link to the NTSE scholarship exam.
  • Now, click NTSE online application 2024 and it will open the NTSE Kerala registration portal.
  • Register with Kerala NTSE by entering the required details.
  • Username and password will be sent to registered email ID. Now, log in with the received credentials.
  • Click on the NTSE application form and fill the form with all details as asked.
  • Upload relevant certificates and click on submit button.
  • Then enter institute details and other details and click on the OK button.
  • Pay the application fee through a Credit card/ Debit card, internet banking.
  • Take a printout of the application form and submit to the principal/HM for verification.

NTSE Kerala 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Students who wish to apply for stage 1 exam must check the NTSE eligibility criteria before applying. They must fulfil the following eligibility criteria to apply for the NTSE Kerala exam 2024:

  • Students must have secured 55% marks in the class 9 exams excluding language subjects.
  • Students studying in class 10 in Kerala state can apply for this exam.
  • Open Distance Learning (ODL) students below the age of 18 are also eligible to apply for this exam. However, this is the first time they are writing the NTSE exam.

NTSE 2024 Syllabus

  • NTSE syllabus 2024 is the same for both stages and it is based on class 9 and 10 state board syllabus and CBSE curriculum.
  • NTSE exam is divided into two sections: MAT and SAT.
  • MAT comprises the questions from verbal and non-verbal reasoning to test candidates logical thinking and analytical skills.
  • The questions will be asked from analogy, classification, numerical series, pattern perception, hidden figure etc.
  • SAT exam is held to test a candidate’s knowledge of Mathematics, Science and Social Science subjects.
  • Students can opt for any one language (English, Malayalam, Tamil or Kannada) as a medium of the NTSE Kerala 2024 exam.

NTSE 2024 Exam Pattern

NCERT prescribed the exam pattern of NTSE for both stages. Students appearing for stage 1 NTSE Kerala 2024 should know about the overview of the question paper which is given by exam pattern.

  • It makes students familiar with the marking scheme, number of questions, duration etc.
  • NTSE exam is divided into two sections: MAT and SAT. Objective type questions will be asked in both sections.
  • There will be no language test in stage 1 Kerala NTSE exam.

NTSE Kerala Result 2024

SCERT, Kerala will release the result of stage 1 NTSE Kerala 2024 exam in February-March 2025. The result will be made available on the official website in the form of a merit list. The merit list consists of the details of selected students for stage 2 exam.

NTSE Kerala Cutoff 2024

SCERT Kerala will release the Cut off marks for stage 1 NTSE Kerala exam. Check NTSE Kerala cut off 2019 in the table given below. Qualifying marks for stage 1 Kerala NTSE are 40% and 32% for general and SC/ST/PH category students respectively. But students will have to score NTSE cutoff marks to get them shortlisted for stage 2 exam.

NTSE Kerala answer key 2024

The exam conducting authority will release the answer key of NTSE Kerala 2024. NTSE Kerala answer key 2024 will contain correct answers to all the questions asked in the exam. Students can download NTSE Kerala answer key in online mode and calculate their probable score. In such a way, they will be able to know the chances of their selection before the NTSE Kerala result 2024. Match probable scores with Cutoff marks to estimate a student’s result.

NTSE Scholarship

The final exam will be held by NCERT and after NTSE stage 2 result, around 220 selected students will be able to avail scholarships up to Ph.d level. The scholarship rates are determined by NCERT which are same for all category students. However, the scholarship amount varies at different levels of study which are given below:

  • Rs. 1250 per month for class 11 and 12.
  • Rs. 2000 per month at UG and PG level.
  • For Ph.D pursuing candidates, the scholarship is provided as per UGC norms.

NTSE Kerala 2024 Admit card

SCERT will release the Kerala NTSE Stage 1 admit card in December 2024. NTSE Kerala admit card 2024 will be made available in online mode through the official website. Students can download their NTSE 2024 admit card using the steps given below:

  • First of all go to the official website: http://scert.kerala.gov.in.
  • Click on NTSE link or the link is given above.
  • It will open the login window. Enter application ID, and application number.
  • Kerala NTSE stage 1 Admit card will open on the screen.
  • Take a printout of it and check for the accuracy of details.

Note: Students should contact officials in case of any discrepancy in NTSE Kerala admit card 2024. It’s mandatory to carry admit card to the exam hall.
