NTSE Uttarakhand 2020 - SCERT, Uttarakhand conducted the NTSE Uttarakhand exams 2020 (Stage 1) on November 17, 2019. NTSE Uttarakhand answer key has been released on November 25, 2019. Students can download the same and predict their estimated scores. The admit cards for the same were available from the first week of November 2019. NTSE Uttarakhand 2020 admit card was handed over to students by school authorities only. Aspirants who qualify NTSE Exam stage 1 will be eligible for stage II exam. National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a scholarship test conducted annually in two stages i.e. stage 1 and 2. NTSE stage 1 is conducted as a selection round for stage 2. Therefore, students, who qualify NTSE Uttarakhand 2020 stage I exam will be eligible for the final stage of NTSE 2020. NCERT will conduct the stage 2 exam on May 10, 2020. NTSE Uttarakhand Answer Key 2020

SCERT released the official NTSE Uttarakhand 2020 answer key on November 25, 2019. The NTSE answer key 2020 helps to know the correct answers for questions asked in MAT and SAT test Students can calculate the expected scores with the help of the Uttarakhand NTSE answer key and know the chances of their selection in the NTSE stage II exam.

Uttarakhand NTSE 2020 Admit Card

Applicants can collect their NTSE Uttarakhand admit card 2020 from their respective schools in the first week of November 2019. Students should have their application number to collect the admit card for stage 1 exam. Students can check their details and exam centre address on the NTSE Uttarakhand 2020 admit card. NTSE 2020 Admit Card is of utmost importance as a student will not be allowed inside the examination hall without verification card.

NTSE Uttarakhand 2020 Exam Pattern

The exam will constitute of Mental Ability Test and Scholastic Ability Test. NTSE 2020 Exam Pattern is briefly explained below:

  • Language Comprehension Test is no longer part of the Exam.

  • Both tests will have 100 questions each, making it a total of 200 questions.

  • There will be no negative marking, and each question is for 1 mark.

SCERT, Uttarakhand or NCERT do not prescribe a specified NTSE syllabus for stage 1, so students must go through the syllabus to class 9th and CBSE class 10 syllabus. NTSE Uttarakhand Result 2020

SCERT, UK will announce the result on the official website in the third week of March 2020. NTSE Uttarakhand 2020 result contains marks obtained in SAT, MAT, and overall marks secured by each candidate. NTSE result 2020 will be released as a merit list is in PDF format and it mentions the name of students who are qualified for NTSE stage 2 exam which will be conducted on May 10, 2020.

NTSE Uttarakhand Cutoff 2020

SCERT releases NTSE Uttrakhand 2020 cut off for students from each category (General, SC, ST, PH). The cut off will be released along with the result in the month of March. Students who score equal to or more than the NTSE cutoff marks for their category will be qualified for NTSE stage II exam 2020.

NTSE Scholarship 2020

Around 2000 scholarships are awarded to the students all over India which are funded by HRD Ministry, Govt. of India, under NTSE program. NCERT, the national conducting body of NTSE is responsible for the distribution of scholarships as per the norms. Students who qualify NTSE stage II 2020 will be eligible to avail the NTSE 2020 scholarship.

NTSE Uttarakhand 2020 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria include the percentage required, age and other parameters.

Before applying for exams, candidates must ensure that they meet the NTSE 2020 eligibility given below.

  • A minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PH) in class 9 is a must to be eligible for the exam.

  • Aspirants pursuing class 10 in the current academic year are eligible.

  • Candidates must have studied in government, private or top Schools in Uttrakhand

  • Open Distance Learning candidates are eligible if their age is not above 18 years.

  • Students must hold Indian Nationality.

  • NMMS scholarship holders are also eligible

How to Apply for NTSE Uttarakhand 2020?

Candidates must follow the steps provided below to successfully apply for NTSE Uttarakhand 2020.

  • Click on the link above or visit the official website i.e scert.uk.gov.in

  • Download and print a copy of the NTSE Uttarakhand application form, and admit card.

  • Enter the required credentials in both forms

  • Two coloured passport-sized photos must be attached on both forms

  • Both the photographs should be attested by the School Principal/ Head of Institution.

  • Submit the forms to Head of School along with the fee receipt.

Note: Incorrectly filled the Application form and admit card form will be subject to rejection.

Mentioned below are the documents which need to be submitted along with the Application form

For SC, ST, and PH - Copy of caste, reservation, category, and disability certificates. Those who fail to do so must be categorized under the general category.

For OBC Candidates - Other Backward Class applicants require to send a copy of their caste certificate attached with the application. But, their reservation will be applicable only if below-mentioned conditions are met.

  • Only ‘Non-creamy layer’ candidates will be able to avail the reservation. OBC candidates whose certificate mentions ‘Creamy Layer’ will not enjoy any reservation benefits.

  • One must locate and identify their caste/ community in the ‘Central List of OBCs’ by NCBC (National Council of Backward Classes.

NTSE Uttarakhand 2020 Application Fee

Candidates need to pay the application fee of Rs.200/- (Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PH) to the school authorities along with the NTSE Uttarakhand 2020 form.

The cutoff for NTSE 2020 Karnataka Phase-1 to move on to Phase-2 will be declared by the KSEEB soon on the official website:

However, the expected cutoff for the General Category is 138- 148, For OBC is 115- 125, for SC/ST is 95- 105 and for PwD is 67- 85. You can find more information here:

when will Punjab ntse stage 1 2020 result be announced?

The results of NTSE stage 1 for Punjab is scheduled to be released tentatively in the last week of January 2020 on their official website: http://ssapunjab.org/

The result will contain a merit list with the name of shortlisted students, their other basic details, MAT score, SAT score and total score. They will also declare the cutoff for stage 1. You can check your result using your name and roll number and find it in the merit list. All the best.
