NTSE Telangana 2020 - DGE has released NTSE Telangana admit card for stage 1 exam online on bse.telangana.gov.in. Students can download the Telangana NTSE hall ticket by entering ID password. Also, students who have not uploaded their caste certificate should upload the same till November 3, 2019. Students can also collect their NTSE Telangana 2020 admit card from their respective schools. Telangana NTSE stage 1 exam will be held on November 3, 2019. Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) shortlists students through stage 1 NTSE Telangana 2020 for NTSE stage 2 exam conducted by NCERT. NTSE 2020 exam will be conducted in offline mode and the result will be declared in online mode in the second week of January 2020. Telangana NTSE admit card for stage 1 has been released by DGE, Telangana online. Students can also collect their NTSE Telangana hall ticket from the schools 10 days prior to the exam. Steps to Download NTSE Telangana 2020 Admit Card

  • Go to the official website bse.telangana.gov.in
  • Click on the "NTSE" section available on home page
  • Now, select the option "NTSE Hall Tickets Download November 2019"
  • A loging window will appear on your screen.
  • Entre School Code and Password and click on "Log in" to download the NTSE Telangana Admit Card

Students who qualify the stage 1 exam should download the stage 2 NTSE admit card. NCERT will release the NTSE admit card 2020 for the stage 2 exam on its official website.

NTSE 2020 Exam pattern

NCERT sets the exam pattern of NTSE for stage 1 and stage 2 exams. Candidates preparing for NTSE Telangana 2020 must know the exam pattern to be aware of marking scheme, section-wise weightage. It will provide an overview of the exam and will help to prepare a study time table accordingly. There will be two papers in the exam that are MAT and SAT. Both will carry 100 marks and 100 questions each and a total of 2 hours duration will be given to solve each exam. No mark will be deducted for any wrong answer.

NTSE Telangana 2020 Syllabus

NCERT prescribed the NTSE 2020 Syllabus which is the same for both stage exams. NTSE syllabus is based on class 9 and CBSE class 10 syllabus. which includes the topics, subtopics of a subject from which questions are asked. The NTSE Telangana Stage 1 exam is divided into two parts: MAT and SAT.

  • MAT section consists of questions from verbal and non-verbal reasoning.

  • SAT section comprises the questions from Mathematics, Science and Social Science subjects.

How to crack NTSE Telangana 2020?

After filling the application form, the next steps is to prepare strategically to ace the exam. Preparation tips and guidance provided by toppers/exam experts given below:

  • Syllabus: Go through the syllabus is the first step towards preparation for any exam. So analyze the NTSE Syllabus and exam pattern to prepare the strategy to ace the exam.

  • Books: The next step is to choose the best books for NTSE 2020. However, most of the schools and teachers recommend NCERT Books but students should refer some other books to have additional information about the topics.

NTSE Telangana Answer Key 2020

NTSE Telangana Result 2020

The result of stage 1 exam will be released in the second week of February 2020. Students will be able to access their NTSE result 2020 through the official website by entering the roll number in the result window. Selected students can see their name and other details in the merit list and these students compete at stage 2 exam.

NTSE Telangana Cutoff 2020

DGE, Tamil Nadu also releases the cutoff marks along with the result. These are the least marks that are required to clear the stage 1 exam. Candidates who score the NTSE cutoff marks can find their names in the merit list. These cutoff marks are prepared on the basis of predetermined factors such as:

  • Number of students appeared

  • Number of available scholarships

  • Difficulty level of question papers.

NTSE Scholarships

NCERT provides scholarships to the deserving candidates through this exam. DGE selects some students from the state and they appear for stage 2 exam. After NTSE stage 2 Result, 216 candidates from Telangana State will get scholarships. All category students will be awarded the same rate of scholarships and it will vary at different levels as given below:

  • Rs.1250/- at Higher Secondary level.

  • Rs.2000/- at Graduate and Post Graduate level.

  • For Ph.D degree, the scholarship is provided as per UGC norms.


NTSE Telangana 2020 Eligibility criteria

Students must check the NTSE eligibility criteria before filling the application form so that they can avoid the rejection of the application form. NTSE Telangana 2020 Eligibility criteria are given below:

  • The student must be passed class 9 exams during the year 2018-19 and scored 60% marks.

  • Students must be studying in class 10 in a school during 2019-20 in the state.

NTSE Telangana 2020 Application form

DGE, Telangana is the responsible authority to administer the NTSE stage 1 application process in the state. It's application forms are released online mode and schools can access and fill these forms on behalf of students. Students can contact their schools to fill the NTSE application form 2020. They will have to provide their photograph, signature and documents to the school.

How to fill the NTSE Telangana Application form?

  • First of all, schools need to go to the official website: bse.telangana.gov.in and click on NTSE. Then, click on the NTSE application.

  • It will open the application form login window. Enter the school code and password in the appropriate fields. Click on login button.

  • Click on the link of New candidate and it will open a blank NTSE application form. Fill a candidate’s details in the form and upload photo with signature.

  • Upload caste/Medical certificate in case of SC/ST/OBC/PHC candidates. Click on Submit application to submit the form.

  • Now, schools need to submit Two sets of Nominal Rolls, printed and attested Application and documents of each candidate and challan to the office of concerned District Educational Officer.

Note: Students need to register for stage 1 exam only and for stage 2 selected students no need to register separately. They will be able to download stage 2 admit card through the NCERT official website using their stage-1 credentials.

NTSE Telangana 2020 Application fee

Students who wish to appear for stage 1 NTSE Telangana exam will have to pay Rs. 100 as an examination fee. They can submit the fee to the respective school authority after which schools will pay the fee through challan.

The cutoff for NTSE 2020 Karnataka Phase-1 to move on to Phase-2 will be declared by the KSEEB soon on the official website:

However, the expected cutoff for the General Category is 138- 148, For OBC is 115- 125, for SC/ST is 95- 105 and for PwD is 67- 85. You can find more information here:

The stage 2 exam which is a national level exam is going to be conducted on 10th may 2020 and the result for the same is going to be announced in the month of August 2020

The results of NTSE stage 1 for Punjab is scheduled to be released tentatively in the last week of January 2020 on their official website: http://ssapunjab.org/

The result will contain a merit list with the name of shortlisted students, their other basic details, MAT score, SAT score and total score. They will also declare the cutoff for stage 1. You can check your result using your name and roll number and find it in the merit list. All the best.
