NTSE Telangana 2024 Application form

DGE, Telangana is the responsible authority to administer the NTSE Application form process in the state. NTSE application forms are released through online mode and schools can access and fill these forms on behalf of students. Candidates can contact their schools to fill the NTSE registration form 2024. They will have to provide their photograph, signature and documents to the school.

Students will have to pay application fees along with NTSE Telangana form 2024 to apply successfully. Students appearing in class 10 are eligible to fill NTSE Telangana 2024 application forms.

How to fill the NTSE Telangana Application form 2024?

  • First of all, schools need to go to the official website: bse.telangana.gov.in. Then, click on the NTSE application 2024 link.

  • It will open the application form login window. Enter the school code and password in the appropriate fields. Click on the login button.

  • Click on the link of New candidate and it will open a blank NTSE application form. Fill a candidate’s details in the form and upload a photo with a signature.

  • Upload caste/Medical certificate in case of SC/ST/OBC/PHC candidates. Click on the Submit application to submit the form.

  • Now, schools need to submit Two sets of Nominal Rolls, printed and attested Application and documents of each candidate and challan to the office of concerned District Educational Officer.

Note: Students need to register for stage 1 exam only and for stage 2 selected students no need to register separately. They will be able to download stage 2 admit cards through the NCERT official website using their stage-1 credentials.

NTSE Telangana 2024 Application fee

Students who wish to appear for stage 1 NTSE Telangana exam will have to pay Rs.100 as an examination fee. They can submit the fee to the respective school authority after which schools will pay the fee through challan.

NTSE Telangana 2024 - Eligibility criteria

Students must check the NTSE eligibility criteria before filling the application form so that they can avoid the rejection of the application form. NTSE Telangana 2024 Eligibility criteria are given below:

  • The student must have passed class 9 exams during the year 2020-21 and scored minimum marks as required.

  • Students must be studying in class 10 in a school during 2024 in the state.

NTSE Telangana 2024 Exam pattern

NCERT sets the exam pattern of NTSE for stage 1 and stage 2 exams. Candidates preparing for NTSE Telangana 2024 must know the exam pattern to be aware of marking scheme, section-wise weightage. It will provide an overview of the exam and will help to prepare a study time table accordingly. There will be two papers in the exam that are MAT and SAT. Both will carry 100 marks and 100 questions each and a total of 2 hours duration will be given to solve each exam. No mark will be deducted for any wrong answer.

NTSE Telangana Syllabus 2024

NCERT prescribes the NTSE Syllabus which is the same for both stage exams. NTSE syllabus is based on class 9 and CBSE class 10 syllabus. which includes the topics, sub topics of a subject from which questions are asked. The NTSE Telangana Stage 1 exam is divided into two parts: MAT and SAT.

  • The MAT section consists of questions from verbal and non-verbal reasoning.

NTSE Telangana Admit Card 2024

DGE, Telangana will release NTSE admit card for stage 1 Telangana in online mode. Students can also collect their NTSE Telangana admit card 2024 from the schools a week before the exam.   • Go to the official website bse.telangana.gov.in.

NTSE Scholarship 2024

NCERT provides scholarships to deserving candidates through this exam. DGE selects some students from the state and they appear for stage 2 exam. After NTSE stage 2 result, selected candidates from Telangana will get scholarships. All category students will be awarded the same rate of scholarships and it will vary at different levels as given below:

  • Rs.1250/- at Higher Secondary level.

  • Rs.2000/- at Graduate and Post Graduate level.

  • For Ph.D degree, the scholarship is provided as per UGC norms.
