NTSE Jharkhand 2024 - Jharkhand Academic Council has released the application form for Jharkhand NTSE in online mode on jac.jharkhand.gov.in. The NTSE Jharkhand 2024 application form can be downloaded by students. They can fill out the application form for JAC NTSE 2024 from August 2024 to September 2024.

The NTSE 2024 stage 1 exam will tentatively be held in November-December 2024. Students who qualify for NTSE Jharkhand 2024 Stage 1 will be eligible to appear for the NTSE Stage 2 exam. The NTSE exam is divided into 2 papers MAT (Mental Ability Test) and the SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test). JAC, Ranchi will release the stage 1 Jharkhand NTSE application form. Interested and eligible students will be able to apply for the same by following the steps mentioned below:
To apply for Jharkhand NTSE 2024, follow the below instructions:
Visit the official website i.e jac.jharkhand.gov.in
Click on the “NTSE 2024 Registration” link available on the left side of the page.
Register online and fill out the NTSE Jharkhand application form
Pay an exam fee of Rs 250/- (Rs. 125/- for SC/ST),
On the printed copy, put the candidate's signature and also get it signed by the parents in the designated columns.
Submit the Jharkhand NTSE application form to the state liaison’s office before the submission deadline with the required documents.
Students must submit the below-mentioned documents along with NTSE Jharkhand application form
Two recent passport size photos.
Copy of the 9th standard mark sheet.
Copy of the reservation certificates for all reserved category students (if applicable).
Disability Status certificate(if applicable) from a government-recognized medical practitioner for physically handicapped candidates.
Aspirants who are participating in the exam will be able to download their admit card/ hall ticket from the official website of JAC, Ranchi at least 10 days before the exam. Jharkhand NTSE Admit card will be issued online at jac.jharkhand.gov.in.
One must enter their application number, name, and date of birth to download the NTSE 2024 Admit Card. It is mandatory to carry the Jharkhand NTSE Admit card during exam day as the candidates won't be allowed to enter the examination hall.
Jharkhand NTSE stage 1 exam is conducted in a specified pattern each year. NTSE 2024 Exam Pattern for Stage 1 and Stage 2 will consist of 2 sections i.e. Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Ability Test (SAT). JAC or NCERT does not prescribe any syllabus for Stage 1 Jharkhand NTSE exams. Students can refer to the Jharkhand board class 9, 10th syllabus, and CBSE class 10 syllabus for preparation. The Mental Ability Test is conducted to evaluate the candidate’s logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
While the Scholastic Ability Test is for conceptual knowledge acquired in the core subjects like Mathematics, and Science, and Social Science in their school. Refer to the table for important topics of NTSE 2024 Syllabus.

To qualify the Jharkhand NTSE stage 1 exam, aspirants must plan a strategy and follow the NTSE 2024 preparation tips.
Students must focus on conceptual clarity rather than mugging the concept. As practical knowledge which will increase the probability of getting good scores in the exam.
Students must refer to the best NTSE books while preparing and making notes and revise them on a regular basis.

The official answer key for the Jharkhand NTSE exam will be released after the commencement of exam. Students will be able to check the answer key on NTSE Jharkhand official website. The Jharkhand NTSE answer key will be released so that students can calculate their probable score before the actual declaration of the result.
JAC will declare the NTSE stage 1 result on the official website in February 2025. Students need to enter their name and hall ticket number to check their NTSE stage 1 result. MAT, SAT scores, total marks obtained are included in the NTSE Jharkhand result. Shortlisted students after Jharkhand NTSE stage 1 result will be eligible for appearing in NTSE stage 2 exam.
