NTSE Chandigarh Application form 2024

SCERT Chandigarh will release the application form for the stage 1 exam in online and offline mode. But forms are submitted in offline mode to the Director of SCERT. Candidates can follow these steps to fill out the NTSE application form 2024:

  • Download the form from the link provided above and or get it signed by the Principal of the school.

  • Fill in all the details correctly and carefully.

  • Paste recent passport-size photographs of candidates.

  • Attached required documents such as the caste certificate for the candidate belonging to the Scheduled Caste /OBC Category and the medical certificate for the candidate belonging to a physically challenged group.

NTSE Chandigarh Eligibility Criteria 2024

  • Candidates who passed class 9th and appeared in the 10th class are eligible to apply for the NTSE 2024 exam.

  • Candidates must have scored Grade B2 and above or 61% marks in the class 9 examination to fulfill NTSE eligibility criteria.

  • SCERT Chandigarh provides a 5% relaxation in marks for students belonging to the SC and PH Category.

  • Students registered under Open distance learning can also apply for this exam. The candidates should be below the age of 18 years, should not be employed, and appear in the NTSE examination for the first time.

NTSE Chandigarh Admit Card 2024

  • Separate NTSE admit card 2024 will be released for stage 1 and stage 2 exams.

  • The admit cards for the NTSE stage 1 exam will be released 15 days before the examination.

  • Students need to collect the admit card from the State Council of Educational Research and

  • Training (SCERT), Sector 32 C, UT Chandigarh by a representative of the Head of the concerned School.

  • This admit card is mandatory to carry on exam day else candidates will not be able to write Chandigarh NTSE 2024 exam.

  • Rs.1250/- at Higher Secondary level.

  • Rs.2000/- at Graduate and Post Graduate level.

  • For Ph.D degree, the scholarship is provided as per UGC norms.
