SCERT, Odisha releases the NTSE Odisha application form 2024 on the official website, scertodisha.nic.in. Students can fill the NTSE Odisha form 2024 for stage 1 online. As per the official website, all activities of State Level NTS Examination (Stage-I) is stalled till further notice. After filling up the NTSE registration form, students need to take a printout of the same and submit it to the concerned School / Institution.

The NTSE stage 1 exam will be held in December 2024. Selected students will appear for the NTSE stage 2 exam to be conducted by NCERT. The results will be declared in August 2025, tentatively. The NTSE Odisha application form for the stage 1 exam will be made available online on ntse.scertodisha.nic.in soon. Eligible students can fill the online application form and submit the hard copy of the filled application to their respective schools. Candidates should follow the below-given steps to submit the Odisha State Talent Search Exam applications:

Click on the ‘Online application’ dialogue box and fill the required details
Download and print a copy of your application form and submit the completely filled form at the principal’s office of your respective institution from where it will be submitted to the state liaison’s officer for Odisha NTSE.
SOL (School of Open Learning) applications should submit their application directly to the state liaison officer.
Applicants should save the application number to download the admit card of NTSE 2024.
Caste Certificate (OBC/SC/ST) issued by the concerned Tahsildar / Additional Tahsildar, if required
Disability Certificate (Physically Handicapped) to be issued by District Medical Board, if required

Following reservation percentages are awarded to Odisha state.

Students who are currently studying in class 10th during the academic year 2024 from any recognized schools located in Odisha are eligible to participate in Odisha NTSE 2024 stage 1 exam.
They must have qualified the Class 9th annual examination with a minimum of 60% marks for General, OBC and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) categories (55% for SC/ST/PH).
Students of open distance learning (ODL) are also eligible for Odisha State Level National Talent Search Examination, provided their age is less than 18 years.
Students must be unemployed and are appearing in Class 10th for the first time.
Eligible students have to appear in Stage 1 of NTSE and pass the same with a minimum of 40% marks in each paper i.e. MAT & SAT separately to get shortlisted for the stage 2 exam. The minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST/PH is 32% marks.
Students have to obtain a minimum of 40% marks in MAT & SAT (32% marks for SC/ST/PH) in NTSE stage 2 result to get shortlisted in the final merit list.
Only 2nd stage qualifiers will receive the final NTSE Scholarships.
The Odisha NTSE exam has two parts: Mental Ability Test (MAT), Scholastic Ability Test (SAT).
MAT and SAT both contain 100 questions each.
There is no negative marking in NTSE Odisha 2024.
Each question carries 1 mark each.
The test duration is 120 minutes or 2 hours.
The questions asked in MAT will be based on analogy, classification, numerical series, pattern perception, hidden figures.
In SAT papers, questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, History, Political Science, Geography and Economics
