The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the revised CBSE 2026 date sheet for Class 10. In the year 2026, the board will conduct the CBSE 10th exam twice. The CBSE phase 1 exam will be held from February 17 to March 11, 2026, while the phase 2 exams will be tentatively held from May 15 to June 1, 2026. No, students cannot skip the CBSE first examination 2026. They must appear in the first exam. However, they can choose not to appear for the second examination if they want. From the academic year 2026, the CBSE board 10 exam 1/ exam 2 will act as an improvement/supplementary examination. If a candidate decides to appear in the phase 2 examination, then in the marksheet cum passing certificate, the better of the two marks will be mentioned.
Students appearing for the CBSE 10th exam must submit the LOC form. The LOC is collected before both the first and second examinations. The CBSE LOC form 2026 was collected from August 29 to September 30, 2025, without any late fee. The students will have to fill out the LOC for the second exam separately. However, no new names or subject changes will be allowed for the second examination.
