This year, the AP Inter 1st year exam 2026 is being held from February 23 to March 25, 2026, and the AP 2nd year exams are being conducted from February 24 to March 23, 2026. Students must prepare effectively for the upcoming examination, as they must acquire the minimum marks to qualify for the examination. The BIEAP has established distinct passing criteria for various subjects. For Humanities, Commerce, and Economics subjects, the total marks are 100, and the passing mark is 35.
In Mathematics and Geography, the total marks are 75, and the passing mark is 26. For Science subjects, which include Physics, Zoology, Chemistry, and Botany, the total marks are 60, and the passing mark is 21. Students who do not achieve the minimum passing score of 35% in any subject will have the opportunity to appear for the AP intermediate supplementary exam 2026.
To successfully pass the AP Inter Exam 2026, students must obtain a minimum of 35 marks out of 100 in each subject and achieve an overall aggregate of 35%. The AP Intermediate result will be declared in April 2026 after the performance of the students is evaluated by the board.
