The Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, GOI, initiated the Swachh Evam Harit Vidyalaya Rating to provide a ready opportunity to inculcate sustainable school environments and to foster a clean and green atmosphere nationwide. The SVHR 2025-26 will be initiated at the district level, the States/UTs level, and the national level. It empowers schools with better practices, hygiene, and national recognition.
