The subjects are broadly divided into two categories- Group A and Group B.
Group A includes language subjects and a child must choose a minimum of one language and a maximum of two languages out of the group.
While Group B includes the core subjects wherein students can choose three subjects or four subjects.
To obtain the class 10 certificate and be pass in NIOS 10th Result, a student must clear five subjects including one language subject.

I would like to inform you that NIOS exam are taken twice a year and the registration portal is open for 2020 and your exam will be conducting during April and May of 2020.So, you can apply for NIOS online.

Your NIOS admission is valid for 5 years. Once it is registered, the validity of 5 years is for both secondary and senior secondary. You can attempt to appear for the exams in these 5 years as many as 9 times. So you can appear for the exams any time within 5 years from the time you have registered with NIOS. At that point in time, you only will have to pay the exam fees.
Follow the syllabus. try to read the chapters mentioned there. Almost all the chapters are included in the exam syllabus so you have to read all the chapters.
Don't leave any question that it will come or not. If you have any doubt just follow the official board provided syllabus. Get your doubts cleared from there.
