    The School Education and Sports Department will start the First Year Junior College (FYJC) quota admission in May 2026. The Maharashtra FYJC quota admission 2026 list will be released at the college level by the respective department. This Zero round is for students applying for admission under reservation categories such as SC, ST, OBC, EWS, Sports, Disability, Minority, etc.

    The Maharashtra FYJC quota admission 2026 is done online through the official website, mahafyjcadmissions.in. There are two ways to apply for admission to Maharashtra FYJC: CAP seats (admissions through allotment in various rounds) and Quota seats (Minority/In-house/Management). Selected students for the Maha FYJC quota admission can complete the process at the junior college level by visiting the respective institute.

    Maharashtra FYJC Quota Admission 2026: Centralised Admission Round

    The School Education and Sports Department will start the Zero Round from June 2026. The Zero round is for the preparation of CAP regular rounds. During this round, preference filling for regular round-1, quota choices, and quota admissions can be done.     Steps to Apply for Maharashtra 11th Quota Admission 2026

    To apply for the Maharashtra FYJC quota admission 2026, students must fill out two forms, i.e., form 1 (personal information) and form 2 (college preference form). Students can click on the link provided to check the steps to fill out the Maharashtra FYJC 11th admission form. The application process for part 1 remains the same for regular and quota students.     • Visit the official website, mahafyjcadmissions.in.

    • Log in using the same ID and password the candidate used during Part 1 of the registration.

    • After logging in, candidates can navigate to the “Quota Choices Part 2” and fill out the Part 2 form on the left side of the dashboard.

    • Select any of “Apply for In-House/Minority/Management Quota”.

    • After that, they must select their academic stream, then filter junior colleges using criteria like medium, district, management type, and college name.

    • They can narrow down their choices by selecting area/block/taluka, college type, UDISE code, or bifocal subject.

    • Students must select a maximum of 10 colleges under quota choices as per their interests. They must ensure that the selections align with their desired stream and location.

    • After selecting, candidates can rearrange the order of preferred colleges as per their interest. Since the admission will be prioritised based on the number they have assigned, with no. 1 being the topmost prior.

    • Make sure to lock the selection in the "Lock Option" form.

    • Once done, finalise the submission and wait for the Maharashtra FYJC merit list 2026.
