Learning proper time management skills is an important factor for board preparations. Create a daily routine that you must stick to. Make the most of any free time you have to study because it will help you significantly improve your grades. Study subjects that you wish to remember first thing in the morning when your mind is clear. Invest at least 8 hours per day in your study. Each subject should be given equal time to ensure that all topics are covered.
Use exams to create challenges. If you got 50 per cent on your last exam, attempt to beat that by getting 60 per cent in the next one. Overcome the previous percentage and aim for higher scores at all times. This will help to identify the specific areas in which you need to work, resulting in higher scores and percentages.
This is critical in terms of exams as you should make a note of your weak areas, whether they are any subjects, chapters, or topics. The most common mistake is that students do not want to study a subject in which they are weak. Instead of avoiding the subject, try identifying your weak aspects and work on them until you make them stronger.
Healthy foods, water, and juice are high in protein and energy, which enhances your brain's ability to operate quickly and remember what you've learned. Eat well, get enough sleep, and engage in activities that relax the mind. This is essential because if your health is poor, you will struggle to cope with the stress of exams.
Relax your mind and thoughts by meditating for five, ten, or even twenty minutes before studying. Start with five minutes to get comfortable in clearing your mind and focusing on your breathing, and then slowly build-up. Meditation:
Increases blood flow to your brain and other organs
Shrinks parts of the brain related to stress and anxiety
Develop parts of your brain related to memory
Meditation not only improves attention but also reduces mind wandering in students.
Students benefit greatly from previous question papers. It has been observed that students who have studied the previous year's question papers show better performance in board exams than students who have not. Solve old question papers while considering the time limit in mind.

You will become surprised to learn how important the night before your board exam is. The night before the exam accounts for nearly 10% of your final grade. Before the exam night, try to remain as calm as possible. Rushing through the notes and books will confuse your thinking. Eat well and get enough sleep so you can wake up feeling refreshed and ready for the exam.
Gather all your mental strength and tell yourself that you will do well once the examination bell rings and the question papers are delivered. Read each question carefully and make a plan for which ones to solve first. Attempt the ones that you are most familiar with.
