विभाग 1 – गद्य
(अ)
(1) कर्ज काढून वाहन खरेदी करण्यामागची कारणे
(अ) समाजात प्रतिष्ठा व दिखावा करण्यासाठी.
(आ) इतरांपेक्षा स्वतःचे प्रदर्शन व आधुनिकतेचा आभास निर्माण करण्यासाठी.
(2) जीवन अर्थपूर्ण होण्यासाठी लेखकाने सांगितलेले तत्त्व
(अ) आपल्या गरजेनुसार व योग्य ठिकाणी वाहनाचा वापर करावा.
(आ) अनावश्यक कर्ज टाळून साधे, सुयोग्य जीवन जगावे.
(3) स्वमत अभिव्यक्ती
‘जीवन अर्थपूर्ण करण्यासाठी वाहनाचा उपयोग होतो,’ – हे विधान तुमच्या शब्दांत स्पष्ट करा.
वाहन हे माणसाच्या जीवनातील एक महत्त्वाचे साधन आहे. वेळेची बचत, कामाची सोय आणि प्रवासाची सुलभता यामुळे जीवन अधिक गतिमान व सोयीस्कर होते. योग्य आणि आवश्यक त्या ठिकाणी वाहनाचा वापर केल्यास श्रम व वेळ वाचतो. त्यामुळे माणूस अधिक काम करू शकतो आणि जीवन अधिक अर्थपूर्ण बनते. मात्र दिखाव्यासाठी किंवा अनावश्यक कर्ज काढून वाहन घेतल्यास जीवनावर ताण येतो. म्हणून विवेकाने वापर केल्यास वाहन जीवन अर्थपूर्ण करण्यास सहाय्यभूत ठरते.

‘मनाचा ब्रेक – उत्तम ब्रेक’ याबाबत तुमची भूमिका स्पष्ट करा.
जसे वाहनासाठी ब्रेक आवश्यक असतो, तसेच जीवनात मनाचा ब्रेक आवश्यक आहे. मनावर नियंत्रण नसल्यास माणूस चुकीचे निर्णय घेतो. आवेग, दिखावा किंवा स्पर्धा यामुळे चुकीची पावले उचलली जातात. त्यामुळे विवेकबुद्धीचा वापर करून मनावर नियंत्रण ठेवणे गरजेचे आहे. योग्य वेळी थांबणे, विचार करणे आणि निर्णय घेणे हेच खरे ‘उत्तम ब्रेक’ होय.

(अ) लोकांनी मला पुष्पगुच्छ आणि नारळ देऊन सन्मानित केले.
(आ) टाळ्यांच्या गजरात माझा सत्कार करण्यात आला.

(अ) नारळात त्याला लहान मुलाचे डोके दिसले.
(आ) त्या दृश्यावरून त्याने “स्त्रीभ्रूण हत्येविरोधात” पोस्टर तयार केले.

चित्रातून लेखकाने समाजाला स्त्रीभ्रूण हत्या थांबवण्याचा प्रभावी संदेश दिला आहे. मुलगी ही कुटुंबाचा अभिमान असते. तिच्या जन्मापूर्वीच तिचा जीव घेणे हा अमानवी कृत्य आहे. मुलगा-मुलगी भेदभाव न करता दोघांनाही समान संधी दिली पाहिजे. समाजाने आपली मानसिकता बदलून स्त्रीभ्रूण हत्या थांबवली पाहिजे.

समाजातील अनिष्ट प्रथा म्हणजे समाजाच्या प्रगतीला अडथळा आणणाऱ्या चुकीच्या परंपरा. जसे की स्त्रीभ्रूण हत्या, हुंडा प्रथा, अंधश्रद्धा इत्यादी. या प्रथांमुळे समाजात अन्याय आणि विषमता वाढते. शिक्षण, जागृती आणि कायद्याच्या माध्यमातून या प्रथा बंद केल्या पाहिजेत. समाज प्रगत होण्यासाठी वाईट प्रथांचा त्याग करणे आवश्यक आहे.
