Every year NCERT organizes NTSE for students of class X of recognized schools to participate and avail scholarships. As the test is conducted every year notifications regarding the date are made available to students. NTSE Important Dates 2016for each stage are provided months before the actual examination by the NCERT itself.

The following NTSE Important Dates 2016 have been declared by NCERT -

Last Date of Submission of NTSE Application Form 2016:  To be notified by the respective state and may vary from state to state

Stage 1 Exam: Examination in Mizoram, Meghalaya, Nagaland and Andaman & Nicobar Islands - November 7, 2015

Stage 1 Exam: Examination in all other states and Union Territories - November 8, 2015

Stage 2 Exam: Examination in all other states and Union Territories - May 8, 2016

The cutoff for NTSE 2020 Karnataka Phase-1 to move on to Phase-2 will be declared by the KSEEB soon on the official website:

kseeb.kar.nic.in (http://kseeb.kar.nic.in)

However, the expected cutoff for the General Category is 138- 148, For OBC is 115- 125, for SC/ST is 95- 105 and for PwD is 67- 85. You can find more information here:



In which date NTSE stage 1 Jharkhand will be published?

The result for NTSE stage 1 in Jharkhand will be announced in the month of April 2020.

The stage 2 exam which is a national level exam is going to be conducted on 10th may 2020 and the result for the same is going to be announced in the month of August 2020

when will Punjab ntse stage 1 2020 result be announced?


The results of NTSE stage 1 for Punjab is scheduled to be released tentatively in the last week of January 2020 on their official website: http://ssapunjab.org/

The result will contain a merit list with the name of shortlisted students, their other basic details, MAT score, SAT score and total score. They will also declare the cutoff for stage 1. You can check your result using your name and roll number and find it in the merit list. All the best.
