NTSE scholarship exam is a national level examination cum scholarship program which recognizes and nurture talented students across India and also offers cash awards to the successful candidates.

Every year NCERT organizes NTSE for students of class X of recognized schools to participate and avail scholarships. As the test is conducted every year notifications regarding the date are made available to students.The Dates for NTSE 2014 are updated months before the actual examination by the NCERT itself. Started with the name of National Talent Search Scheme in 1963, NTSE is a scholarship programme to nurture talents across country.

 

The Stage-I of the NTSE is mostly organized in the month of November each year, and Stage-II in May next year.

what will expected cutoff of hp ntse stage 1 and what can be date for release of result of this stage in hp

Hi Samur,
The expected cut off for NTSE 2020 for Himachal Pradesh is 125 -135 for general category and 90 - 100 for OBC. Last year it was 128 for general category and 89 for OBC. SCERT conducts exam for HP.
The result of NTSE will be published in February 2020 and second stage exam will take place on May 10, 2020, and the result will be out by September 2020.

Hello Abhinav,  Good Afternoon,
As you mentioned,  Your marks are good enough to get selected for next stage.  Because as per the previous year cut offs,  for general category expected cut off marks is 130+
And your score is good enough than this.

i will score 177 marks in ntse stage 1 in punjab . will i be elligible for stage 2

Hello Tanish,  Good morning.
Scoring 170+ marks In NTSE is really good thing.  Final results of NTSE stage 1 is not released yet,  But you can predict your chance of selection based on expected cut off marks.  As per these,  The expected cut off for general category is 130-140+ .
So as per this marks,  You will definitely got selected for next stage of NTSE.
So be prepared for stage 2.

I have scored 162 for NTSE Kerala will I be eligible for Stage II?

You have not mentioned your category nevertheless the cut off is as follows for each category not NTSE Kerala stage 1 (2019)

General category - 143

OBC - 119

SC- 101.

As you have scored above cut off marks you have good chances of being eligible for stage 2.

According to our experts the cutoff for NTSE stage 2 for andhra pradesh students for general category will be around 164.
