Jain International Residential School (JIRS), Karnataka, recently organised Cathedral MUN. 400 delegates from well-known institutions from all around India and a few international schools in Dubai attended the event. 14 JIRS delegates from various committees were present. Participants in the conference talked about and resolved their allocated agendas during the meeting. All of the participants' oratory and communication abilities were on display at the MUN. Participants gained knowledge about the global economy and the current financial crisis. Three noteworthy mentions were given to JIRS.

About Jain International Residential School, Karnataka

Jain International Residential School was founded by Chenraj Roychand in 1999. It is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), International Baccalaureate (IB) & Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE). The school is managed by Shri Bhavan Mahavir Jain Educational & Culture Trust. “Jain International Residential School takes its responsibilities to develop young people's resilience, motivation, and resourcefulness very seriously. The school provides an environment where kids are exposed to a global curriculum, an immersive learning process, and holistic growth within a supportive and diverse community,” says the school’s website. The school is currently being led by Sanjeeva Kumar Sinha.

Jain International Residential School Events

Jain International Residential School (JIRS) recently welcomed Sumer Bahadur Singh and Vinay Pande, representatives from the Boarding Schools Association of India. They began their visit by attending the assembly and being welcomed by the principal, Sanjeev Kumar Sinha. The speakers enthralled the students and teachers with their wise words. Along with visiting residence halls, the delegation spoke with professors and other staff members and took part in an interactive session with the council members.
