The NIOS Class 12 subjects are categorized into six distinct groups, namely Groups A, B, C, D, E, and F.
Group A comprises language subjects, whereas the remaining groups consist of subjects from Science, Commerce, Humanities, and other disciplines.
When applying for NIOS admission 2024, every student must choose a minimum of five subjects. It is mandatory to select one language subject from Group A, while the remaining subjects can be chosen from any of the groups.
