Over the past three years, the Maharashtra State Board has focused heavily on various Chemistry Topics, like Coordination Compound and reaction Mechanism. Several core topics like Name Reaction, Rate of Reaction, Electrical configuration of Lanthanoids & Actinoids, IUPAC- Nomenclature of Mononuclear Coordination Compounds, Structure and Stereoisomerism of Coordination Compounds, and Methods of Preparation of Organic Compounds each received three-four questions. Other important concepts like the Carbohydrates, Proteins and Green Chemistry. This pattern highlights the board's effort to cover a wide range of topics, emphasizing foundational concepts essential for higher studies like JEE and NEET etc.
Apart from these, there are several other important concepts in which one question has been asked, which are:
Raoult’s Law
Van’t Hoff Factor
EMF of cell
Fuel cell
Rate law of Reaction
Half-life (for zeroth and first-order reaction)
Magnetic Moment
Oxidation state of d and f block elements
VBT & CFT
Nature of C-X bond
Acidic nature
Buffer solution
SN1 & SN2 reaction
Classification of Carbohydrates, Proteins and Vitamins
Based on the given table, here's an approach to studying the important concepts to score better in Maharashtra State Board exams:
Reaction Mechanism (5 Questions)
Understand the fundamental principles and mechanisms. Practice conversion questions and previous year's questions to reinforce your understanding.
Half-life (only for zero and first-order reactions): Focus on understanding the derivations, and applications. Practice problems involving calculations of life period of reaction, rate of reaction, and rate constant.
IUPAC naming of Coordination Compound: Study the basic concept of ligands, ions and charges on the compound. Practice involving different compounds of different oxidation states.
Haloalkanes & Haloarenes: Understand the nature of the bond of the C-X bond and SN1 & Sn2 reaction mechanism.
Now, in this section, we will look at some of the crucial questions that were previously asked in Maharashtra Board class 12. You can also refer to the chemistry sample paper created by subject matter specialists at Career 360 for complete questions.
Q1. Write chemical reactions for the following conversions:
(i). Acetic acid into acetic anhydride
(ii). Acetic acid into ethyl alcohol
Q2. Calculate standard Gibbs energy change at 25°C for the cell reaction
Q3. Show that, time required for 99.9% completion of a first order reaction is three times the time required for 90% completion. Give electronic configuration of Gd .
Q4. Write the name of nano-structured material used in car tyres to increase the life of tyres.
Q5. Explain Wolf-Kishner reduction reaction. Write preparation of propanone by using ethanol chloride and dim-ethyl cadmium.

Till now we have discussed the introduction, syllabus overview, important concepts and previous year data. Now we will move towards strategy and exam-related tips.
a) Master the Basics: Thoroughly understand fundamental standards as these are the building blocks for superior subjects. Regularly overview definitions, formulas, and standards.
b) Effective Study Materials: Utilize the prescribed Maharashtra State Board textbooks for focused instruction. Supplement with NCERT books and renowned reference books like "Mordern ABC " with the aid of DR. S.P. Jauhar.
c) Maintain a Healthy Routine: Regular exercising, balanced nutrition, and adequate sleep are important, especially in the course of examination guidance. Avoid cramming all night earlier than the examination to keep your mind fresh.
d) Create a Structured Study Plan: Divide the syllabus into attainable sections and allocate particular times for each, making sure all subjects are protected well earlier than the examination date. Include normal breaks and revision intervals in your timetable.
e) Solve Previous Years' Papers: Practice with beyond-board examination papers and mock tests to make yourself familiar with the exam layout and query sorts. This exercise facilitates time control and identifies regions that want more attention.
f) Regular Revision: Regularly revisit subjects. This allows in lengthy-time period retention and reduces pre-exam pressure. Create summary notes for short revisions before the examination.

Hello aspirant,
There are many NEET-UG 2024 coaching hubs and online resources in India that charge astronomical fees for NEET preparations, but some students cannot afford these fees, and some aspirants prefer to advance their preparation without choosing a premium subscription with NEET free coaching 2024 resources.
The free coaching options for NEET UG 2024 are a great option for those candidates. NEET free coaching sessions aren't all that different from premium coaching, despite their promises to have superior guides for medical preparation. Candidates will receive better instructors during the NEET free lessons in 2024, much like the premium ones.
