The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the CBSE Board exam 2026 for Class 10th from February 17 to March 10, 2026, and the CBSE 12th board exam will be conducted from February 17 to April 9, 2026. As the big exam day gets closer, students may feel excited and nervous. To ensure a smooth and fair examination process, the board outlines specific CBSE guidelines for students. These guidelines cover a range of aspects, including essential items to bring to the exam hall, designated timings, and instructions for the exam day itself. The students need to follow these instructions during the examination and while they are in the CBSE Board exam centre. The students need to carry the permitted items to the exam centre. The students must not carry any of the prohibited items to their exam centre as it may lead to penalties.

However, the use of smartwatches is strictly prohibited within the examination hall. Also, adhere to the prescribed CBSE dress code by ensuring you are wearing your complete school uniform.

Visit the Exam Centre (Before Exam Day):

To mitigate any potential confusion or pre-exam anxiety, it is advisable to visit the designated exam centre a day or two before the CBSE examination date, especially if you are uncertain about its location.

Arriving at the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the scheduled commencement time is highly recommended. This allows for adequate time to settle in and alleviate any last-minute anxiety.

To ensure thorough preparation, compile a comprehensive checklist that includes all the essential items you will need to bring to the exam centre. Before departing for the exam centre, review this checklist to ensure that you have not omitted any crucial items.
