For the academic year 2024-25, the CBSE 12th board exams were conducted from February 15 to April 4, 2025. As per the official data released by the Central Board of Secondary Education, 17,04,367 students registered to appear in the board exams. The actual number of students who finally appeared for the exams has now been disclosed after the announcement of CBSE Class 12 results. The total number of students who took the CBSE 12th examination 2025 is 16,92,794.
Students can download and check the CBSE admit card 2026 in the form of a PDF from the official website, cbse.gov.in. The admit card for the class 10th and 12th examinations 2026 will be available on the official website.

A little less than 17 lakh students appeared for the exams, as in the past, it was seen that the total number of students appearing was always less than the number of students registered.
There are a total of 120 subjects for which CBSE conducted the higher secondary exams, and 1,07,28,990 is the total number of copies that were evaluated.

The overall pass percentage stood at 87.98%, with girls achieving a higher pass percentage of 91.52% in comparison to boys, whose pass percentage stood at 85.12%.
