The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has successfully conducted the CBSE Class 10th English exam 2025, which was scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This year a total of approximately 44 lakh students from 8,000 schools are appearing for the Class 10 and 12 board exams. The CBSE class 10 English paper was easy to moderate level and easy with respect to last year's English question paper. This year's reading section question was time-consuming for students.

The English exam question paper was structured into three sections:
Section A: Reading Skills
This section evaluated students' comprehension skills through two unseen passages, each carrying 10 marks, amounting to a total of 20 marks.
Section B: Writing Skills and Grammar
This section tested students' command over writing and grammar. It included creative writing tasks and grammatical exercises, contributing 20 marks to the overall score.
Section C: Literature and Supplementary Reading
This section assessed students' understanding of the prescribed literature. It featured questions from the textbooks, accounting for 40 marks of the exam.
