The CBSE application dates for verification of marks/revaluation have been revised. For Class 10, the new application period is from June 7 to June 10, 2025. For Class 12, the revised dates are from May 31 to June 5, 2025.

As per the new system, students can now first apply to obtain a scanned copy of their answer scripts. If any discrepancy is located, they can then move on to opt for verification of marks and the re-evaluation facility. Students will have to first apply to obtain a photocopy of the evaluated answer scripts. This step will help them identify if there is omission of marks, totalling errors and locate any answers which have not been evaluated or checked.
Verification of Marks and Re-evaluation
After reviewing the scanned copy of the answer script, students can choose to either opt for verification or re-evaluation or both as per requirement. The verification of marks can be applied for if there is any totalling error or discrepancy. Re-evaluation can be applied for if the students think their answers were not correctly assessed.
In the following table, students can check the application fee for various provisions offered by CBSE to students after the result declaration. Students should note that the fee details mentioned are as per the previous year’s structure. The application fee may or may not be revised for the current year. If you want to change your stream to humanities after getting a compartment in one subject in the CBSE 12th Board Exam , you actually have limited options to qualify for your board exams. You can prepare effectively and appear in the compartment examination for mathematics again. If you do not wish to continue with the current stream, you can take readmission in the Humanities stream and start from Class 11th again, and continue studying for two more years to qualify for the 12th examination.
