Earlier, the offline and online exams were also conducted on December 7 and December 14, 2025, respectively. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has also introduced stricter rules for students caught using unfair means during examinations. If a candidate is found cheating in any subject, the result for that subject will be cancelled, and the marks cannot be replaced through an additional subject.
Such students will be placed in the compartment category and will have to reappear for the concerned subject to qualify. These revised rules will apply to all students appearing for the CBSE Class 10 board exams from 2026 onward.
