IB Career-related Programme Eligibility

The CP is accessible to students from 16 to 19 age groups who are authorised to avail of the programme. The IB CP aids schools’ retention of students, encourages students to take responsibility for their actions, and promotes the development of skills. IB Career-Related Programme Curriculum

The International Baccalaureate career-related programme is a three-part educational framework consisting of the following -

The CP Core

This framework enhances student’s personal and interpersonal development with an emphasis on experiential learning. The CP core consists of four interrelated strands

Courses from the IB’s Diploma Programme

The DP curriculum consists of six subject groups and the DP core, comprising the theory of knowledge, creativity, activity, service (CAS) and the extended essay. Students can choose at least two courses from the IB Diploma Programme: studies in language and literature, language acquisition, individuals and societies, sciences, mathematics and the arts.

Students should choose DP courses as per their career-related studies as they provide the theoretical foundation. Students can excel in traditional academic subjects by taking courses from the IB’s diploma programme.
