Candidates can use the official website of the Public Financial Management System (pfms.nic.in) to check their NSP payments. PFMS is an online platform developed by the Controller General of Accounts (CGA) in India. It's designed to streamline and modernise the financial management processes of government departments and agencies.

What If my NSP Payment is pending?

To track their payment status on PFMS, click on the appropriate button. If they have sent a payment to PFMS, the status will display as "initiated by a bank," "under processing with the bank," or "under processing with the ministry."

Once approved, they should receive the payment within 15 days. If not, contact PFMS for assistance. Ensure their bank account is linked to DBT to receive the payment. If the status shows "under processing with the bank," wait 24-48 hours before checking again.

If the status is not visible on PFMS, the ministry might still be processing their application. In this case, wait a few days and contact NSP customer care. If they have been awarded a scholarship and the merit list has been released, they can apply for the scholarship on the NSP portal. If the merit list hasn't been released, wait as the ministry is working on it.
