The passing marks for the MP Board exams are 33% for each subject. This means that students need to score at least 33 out of 100 in each subject to pass the exam. In subjects with practical exams, the passing marks are calculated out of a total of 100 marks, which includes both the theory and practical marks. MP Board 10th theory exams are typically worth 80 marks, with 20 marks allocated for practical/internal assessments. For the MPBSE Class 12th exams, the theory papers carry 70 marks, and the practical exams are worth 30 marks.

MP Board Passing Marks 2026 – Subject-Wise Minimum Qualifying Marks

To pass such subjects, students must score at least 33% in both the theory and practical exams separately. For example, in a subject with a practical exam, a student needs to score at least 23 out of 70 in the theory exam and at least 10 out of 30 in the practical exam to pass the subject. The MP Board also has a system of awarding grace marks to students who are close to passing.

MP Board Passing Marks 2026

The MPBSE exam question papers now include objective, subjective, and analytical questions. Theoretical exams will be 3 hours long, while practical exams will be 2 hours. The passing mark is 33% for subjects without a practical component. For subjects with practicals, the minimum passing mark varies.

The MP Board 12th exams will be held from February 7 to March 3, 2026, while the MPBSE 10 exams will be conducted from February 11 to March 2, 2026. Both the MP Board 10 and 12 exams will be conducted in a single shift, from 9 am to 12 noon.

Yes, you can get admission in BSc Nursing in Madhya Pradesh through the MP PNST exam. MP PNST means Pre-Nursing Selection Test. It is a state-level entrance exam for girls who want to study BSc Nursing in government and some private nursing colleges in MP.

To get admission, you must appear for this exam and score the required marks. General category students must get at least 50th percentile, and SC, ST, and OBC students must get at least 40th percentile to qualify. After qualifying, you will be called for counselling. Based on your rank and category, you can choose the nursing college during counselling.
