Students must achieve a minimum of 35% marks in each subject to pass the Tamil Nadu SSLC exam. For subjects including a practical component, they are required to score at least 20 out of 75 marks in the TN SSLC theory exam and 15 out of 25 in the practical examination.

Also, the Tamil Nadu SSLC board uses a grading system to evaluate student performance. Student’s grades will be determined based on his/her academic performance. The TN SSLC marking scheme is different for language and non-language subjects. Grades range from A1 (highest) to E (fail), each assigned a corresponding grade point value. The final grade for each student is determined based on their marks across all subjects.

TN Board SSLC Passing Marks for Theory and Practical Marks

To pass the TN Board Class 10th exams, students must achieve a minimum score of 35 marks in each subject.

Yes, PCM students can apply for the seat in Btech food technology in Kalasilangam college. Main eligibility criteria is:

  • Pass in Higher Secondary(+2 exams) of the state board, CBSE, Matric or any other Board of Education recognized by state and/or Central Government with the aggregate of 50% and above in Mathematics /Biology/Physics/Chemistry.
