The theory paper will carry 80 marks, while the remaining 20 marks are assigned for the practical examination. Students appearing for the examination must be aware of the CBSE passing marks for the mathematics paper. To pass the CBSE 11th exam 2025-26, students must score a minimum of 33% marks in aggregate and each subject, including Maths. They must score 33% in both the theory and practical papers separately. Hence, to pass the CBSE 11th maths theory paper, they must score at least 27 marks and 6 marks in the practical paper.
Changing from the CBSE board to the Odisha CHSE in Class 12 is generally difficult and often not ideal due to differences in syllabi and examination structures. Most boards, including Odisha CHSE , do not recommend switching in the final year of schooling. It is crucial to consult both CBSE and Odisha CHSE authorities for specific policies, but making such a change earlier is advisable to prevent academic complications.
