The CBSE admit card for Class 10 and Class 12 was released on February 3, 2026. 1st character: First letter of the student’s first name
2nd character: First letter of the student’s mother’s name
3rd & 4th characters: Last two digits of the roll number
5th & 6th characters: First two digits of the school code
The CBSE admit card ID is printed directly on the admit card. Regular students must obtain their admit cards from their school, as only school officials can download them via the Pariksha Sangam portal on the CBSE website using authorised credentials. After downloading, the school prints, stamps, and signs the admit cards before distributing them to students.

The CBSE admit card ID is used to check the CBSE 10th result and the CBSE 12th result. This admit card ID is also required to check the CBSE compartment result. If the student misplaces their CBSE admit card ID, they can reconstruct it using the standard formula: the first letter of their name, followed by the first letter of their mother’s name, then the last two digits of their roll number, and finally the first two digits of their school code.
Also, they can request assistance from their school, as they retain copies of the admit cards and can provide a duplicate copy. Students may also use CBSE’s “Forgot Application Number” or “Forgot Roll Number” option through their 'Pariksha Sangam' portal to retrieve the necessary details online.
