The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has clarified that no Class 10 toppers list will be published this year along with the CBSE result 2025. For the past three years, CBSE has refrained from announcing toppers to discourage unhealthy competition. But, many schools still publish their topper lists with the names of students who achieved full marks. The CBSE Class 10 results have been announced on May 13, 2025. Students can check their CBSE 10th results on the official websites: cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in.

The CBSE Class 10 merit list is not officially released by the board. Since 2020, the board has stopped publishing CBSE 10th merit lists and individual topper names. This decision was made to discourage unhealthy competition among students and promote a more inclusive and stress-free academic environment.
Although the topper list is not released, CBSE provides:
Overall pass percentage
Region-wise and gender-wise performance data
Subject-wise statistics
Information on students scoring above 90% and 95%
While the official CBSE board websites, cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in, are the primary sources for results, many individual schools also release their CBSE 10th topper lists. These CBSE 10th topper lists often highlight students who have achieved full marks in particular subjects or scored above 95% or 90% overall. Some media outlets may highlight high scorers based on school reports.

Hello Aspirant, Hope your doing great, your question was incomplete and regarding what exam your asking.
Yes, scoring above 80% in ICSE Class 10 exams typically meets the requirements to get into the Commerce stream in Class 11th under the CBSE board . Admission criteria can vary between schools, so it is advisable to check the specific requirements of the intended CBSE school. Generally, a good academic record with a score above 80% in ICSE 10th result is considered strong for such transitions.
hello Zaid,
Yes, you can apply for 12th grade as a private candidate .You will need to follow the registration process and fulfill the eligibility criteria set by CBSE for private candidates. If you haven't given the 11th grade exam ,you would be able to appear for the 12th exam directly without having passed 11th grade. you will need to give certain tests in the school you are getting addmission to prove your eligibilty.
best of luck!
