M.L Khanna DAV Public School Participates In Sputnik Anniversary Celebration

M.L Khanna DAV Public School students participated in the Sputnik Anniversary Celebration and World Space Week at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture (RCSC) on October 10, 2022. Students interacted with Amit from Space Development Nexus (SDNx) and his staff about the several job options in space technology. The RCSC team gave a presentation on Konstatin Tsiolovsky's life, Russian researcher in aeronautics and astronautics, and through it, the students learned about space exploration and rocket science. Students expressed their gratitude to principal Monika Chatrath Mehan for providing this opportunity.

M.L. Khanna DAV Public School, Dwarka, and Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) recently organised a 2-day training workshop on ROVERS where students in classes 6 to 8 learned about the design and operation of a Rover. Space Development Nexus sponsored this workshop. Sanjay Rathee, the CEO of Space Development Nexus, and his team went over the various categories, components, and mechanisms that go into making a Rover. The session gave students a detailed introduction to practical Rover, the challenges involved in making one, and the various ways Rover can be useful to us. The young recipients also received a Rover building kit.
