In West Bengal 10th theory exams, a minimum of 30 marks is required out of 90 marks. For West Bengal Madhyamik practical exams, out of 10 marks, at least 3 marks are needed to pass. The West Bengal board uses a grading system ranging from AA (highest) to D (lowest), and a "C" grade or above is necessary for passing.
Students taking the West Bengal Madhyamik exam 2025 will be examined in seven subjects. These include two language papers and five core subjects. Each subject will consist of a WB Madhyamik theory paper and an internal assessment, which may include a practical exam also.
Students must obtain a minimum of 272 out of 800 marks to pass. A Grade C (equivalent to 34%) is the minimum passing grade, according to the WBBSE Madhyamik exam 2025 criteria. To pass the WBBSE 10th exam, students must achieve a minimum score of 272 out of 800. Students scoring 480 or above will be awarded a first division, while those scoring 360 or above will receive a second division.

The West Bengal Madhyamik Grading System 2025, established by the state board, uses a seven-point scale. Students receive grades based on their exam performance, ranging from AA (the highest) to D. An AA grade is awarded for scores between 90 and 100. A minimum grade of "C" is required to pass the Madhyamik exams. Approximately 9,84,000 candidates took the WBBSE Class 10th exams this year at 2,683 centres throughout the state. Of those candidates, 555,950 are female. The WBBSE Madhyamik exams, were scheduled from February 10 to 22, 2025. The exams were conducted in pen-and-paper format.
The compulsory subjects include First Language, Second Language, Life Science, Physical Science, History, Geography, and Mathematics. Each exam is 3 hours and 15 minutes long, with the first 15 minutes dedicated to reading time. West Bengal 10 exams were held from 10:45 am to 2 pm on each exam day. Students are advised to thoroughly review the WBBSE 10th syllabus 2025 to adequately prepare for all exam questions.
The West Bengal Madhyamik results are expected to be released in May 2025. Students who do not pass the West Bengal 10th exam will have the opportunity to take the WB Madhyamik supplementary exam in August 2025.

No, the use of calculators is not allowed in the West Bengal Madhyamik Mathematics exam. Students are required to perform calculations manually. It is advisable to practice solving problems without a calculator to improve speed and accuracy during the exam.

Keep an eye on the official website or the link below for the latest information. West Bengal 10th board result 2022 will be made available in online mode on the official website, wbresults.nic.in. The WBBSE Madhyamik exams was held from March 7 to March 16, 2022.

Try to answer them on your own .. as you know, as per the Madhyamik syllabus , there are literature subjects like English, Bengali and in these papers .. you need to show your thinking ability about any story , poem and analyze them in deep .. there could not be any model answers for them .. The more you study , the more you understand in deep .
For the other subjects , give the mock test by using the sample papers and evaluate after that by matching the answers given in text books or you can take help from school teachers regarding copy evaluation of mock tests .
