Students appearing for the exam must prepare according to the Assam HSLC exam pattern and syllabus 2025. The exam will be held for 3 hours for 100 marks in total. The Class 10 exam pattern Assam board covers subjects like English, Hindi, Maths Social Science and MIL. We have provided the HSLC Assam board exam pattern below for students' reference.
The Assam HSLC English exam will be conducted for a duration of 3 hours. The theory paper will consist of 90 marks while the internal assessment will carry 10 marks. The overall passing marks is 30 marks and to pass the written examination, students will have to score at least 27 marks.
The internal assessment is for 10 marks in Spoken English. It will be based on the textbook First Flight, Footprints without Feet and An Approach to English Grammar. Questions from each Unit/Lessons will carry 2 to 10 marks.

The Assam HSLC 2025 General Maths subject will carry 100 marks in total out of which 90 marks will be for theory and 10 marks for internal assessment. The internal assessment will be divided into two parts, practicals and project and practicals will carry 7 marks and project will carry 3 marks.

The Assam 10th board Social Science paper will carry 100 marks in total. Questions from each unit will carry at least 2 to 10 marks depending on the question. To pass the HSLC Social Science theory examination Assam Board, students will have to score at least 27 marks in the examination.

After the announcement of the Assam HSLC result, the Assam board opens the window for the rechecking process. If you are not satisfied with your result, you can visit the official website, fill out the Assam HSLC revaluation process application form and submit it along with the required fee.
