Candidates can visit the official website to apply for CBSE Patrachar Vidyalaya admission for the 2025-26 academic year. The last date for CBSE Patrachar Vidyalaya admission with a late fee was September 13, 2025. Established in 1968, the ‘Patrachar Vidyalaya’ provides educational opportunities to drop-out students who could not continue with their education and those belonging to weaker sections of society.

    • For admission to Class 10 in CBSE Patrachar Vidyalaya, the candidate must have completed 14 years of age as on March 31 of the respective academic year.
    • Candidates who have passed or failed Class 9 in 2025 from a government, government-aided, or recognised school/board are eligible for admission to Class 10 at Patrachar Vidyalaya, provided they submit the original SLC duly countersigned by the Competent Authority/DDE Zone/DDE District.
    • Candidates who have studied up to Class 9 privately can apply for admission to Patrachar Vidyalaya by submitting an affidavit along with proof of date of birth.
    1. Eligibility Criteria for Class 12

    • Students seeking admission to Class 12 at CBSE Patrachar Vidyalaya must have passed the Class 10 or Secondary School Examination, or any equivalent examination from a recognised board or university.
    • There must be a complete year gap after passing Class 10.
    • Students must have passed/failed Class 11 from any government school/government-aided school/recognised school/board/university.
    • Students failed in Class 12 from a recognised board/ university.

    What Courses are Offered by CBSE Patrachar Vidyalaya?

    CBSE Patrachar Vidyalaya offers courses at two primary levels: Secondary (Class 10) and Senior Secondary (Class 12). These courses are designed to accommodate students who wish to complete their education outside the traditional school setting. Here are the details of the courses offered:

    • Secondary Level (Class 10)

    Students have to opt for a minimum of five subjects, including two languages. There are three schemes of study available in the application form, and students can opt for subjects as per the chosen scheme of study.

    • Senior Secondary Level (Class 12)

    Students can choose from the available streams - arts, science and commerce. They must choose at least five subjects, including one or two languages, depending on their chosen stream.
