Changes Made by BSEAP

Over the past few years, several key innovations have been introduced to modernise and streamline the examination process:

• Prototype BSEAP mark sheets have been issued to candidates for improved transparency and standardisation.
• BSEAP result notifications via SMS have been implemented, allowing students to receive their results directly on their mobile phones.
• The application process has been replaced by Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR) forms, enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of candidate registration.
• Photo hall tickets are now issued, significantly reducing impersonation and enhancing examination security.
• The Directorate of Government Examinations, Andhra Pradesh, was the first to introduce Advanced Supplementary Examinations in May–June, immediately after the March results. This initiative enables successful candidates to enrol in the two-year intermediate course without losing an academic year.
• The use of OMR forms for mark scanning has replaced manual data entry, speeding up the evaluation process and improving accuracy.
• An OMR barcoding system has also been implemented across all subjects to maintain the anonymity of candidates during spot valuation, further strengthening the integrity of the examination process.
