The Science Olympiad Foundation will release the SOF NSO results for the level 1 exam in January 2026. The Science Olympiad Foundation will declare the NSO Level 2 result in March 2026. Students studying in classes 1 and 2 will receive awards based on their performance in level 1 and do not need to appear for level 2 examinations after SOF results. Students studying in classes 3 to 12 who completed level 1 will be eligible for level 2. SOF NSO Level 2 exam will be conducted in February 2026, and the results will be released in March 2026. NSO Answer Key 2025-26

NSO Result 2025-26 Tie-Breaking Criteria

In the NSO Olympiad 2025-26 results, if two or more students score equal marks, the rank will be awarded to the student who scored higher marks in the section with higher priority. The section-wise priority is tabulated below.

NSO Cutoff 2025-26

The cutoffs for NSO 2025-26 will be released shortly after the release of NSO results. To qualify for level 2, candidates must score a minimum marks as the NSO Cutoff.

Criteria to qualify for the NSO Level II examination

To qualify for the NSO level II examination, a student must meet the following criteria.

Criteria 1: Students from each class who will earn the top 5% rank in the first level of NSO.

Criteria 2: Students up to 25 rank in each zone and each class

Criteria 3: Class topper from each participating school who received 50% or higher in the level 1 examination. In this case, at least 10 students must take the exam. If registration is done section-wise, students with the highest marks will be qualified for the NSO level II examination regardless of section.

NSO Result 2025-26 Level 2

The NSO 2025-26 level II examination will be held in February 2026. The result of NSO 2025-26 level 2 will be released in March 2026. Students can view the results on the SOF's official website.

Students must prepare carefully to qualify for NSO levels 1 and 2. Students must read the NSO syllabus and study accordingly for the exam.

NSO Result 2025-26 - Student's Performance Report

The NSO results will provide a complete student performance report for the level 1 exam. Students can meticulously evaluate their exam performance using this SPR. This SPR is divided into six sections, which are as follows:

• Section A - This section exhibits applicants' scores and rankings at the School/City/Zone/International levels.
• Section B - Students can access the previous year's performance report in this section.
• Section C - This section contains the student's correct answers as well as a comparison of the student's performance vs other students at the Class, City, Zone, and International levels.
• Section D - In this section, an average score analysis with a comparison with the School, City, Zone and international level will be provided.
