The Maharashtra 11th (FYJC - First Year Junior College) admission process for the academic year 2025-26 is conducted online through a centralised admission process (CAP) by the Maharashtra School Education and Sports Department. This process is applicable for admissions in major cities and districts across Maharashtra. The registration process for Class 11th admission began on May 26, 2025, and will continue until June 5, 2025 (2 pm). Students need to register and submit their applications online through the official website, mahafyjcadmissions.in.
Students can select a minimum of one and a maximum of ten junior colleges as their preferences during the Maharashtra 11th application process. Seat allotment is based on merit and student preferences. The Maharashtra 11th admission process will be conducted in multiple rounds, with four CAP rounds planned this year. Any remaining seats after these rounds will be converted to the open category.
Students are required to select a minimum of one and a maximum of ten preferences during enrollment. Allotments will be made based on these preferences, individual marks, and any applicable reservations. Furthermore, students have the option to apply for Quota admissions simultaneously online. Students must provide their consent at every round, and those not initially allotted a college can submit fresh preferences or stream choices in subsequent rounds.

Maharashtra Class 11 admission has started. Students can check the steps below and apply for the Maharashtra Board first-year junior class admission. Check the MH Board 11th admission process below:
From May 26, 2025 (11:00 AM) to June 5, 2025 (2:00 PM), students are required to complete their registration on the official Maharashtra 11th admission portal. During this process, they must enter their personal and academic information and select a minimum of one and a maximum of ten colleges or courses in their order of preference. The allotment of seats is based on merit, reservation criteria, and the preferences provided.
Students must choose only one type of quota at a time, either the CAP Quota (government seats) or the Management / Minority / In-House Quota (Zero Round), as applications for multiple quotas simultaneously are not allowed. After filling in all the necessary details, students must ensure they lock their Maharashtra Class 11 application form before the deadline.
On June 5, 2025, a draft merit list will be published based on the information submitted by students during registration. This list reflects each student's ranking, marks, eligibility, academic performance, and the preferences they selected during the application process.
Students will have the opportunity to correct any errors, such as mistakes in their name, marks, category, or other details, by logging into their Maha FYJC admission portal. All submitted corrections will be reviewed and verified by the Deputy Director of Education, who will address and resolve any discrepancies found in the provisional merit list.
On June 11, 2025, the corrected and verified merit list have been released. The Maharashtra 11th final list reflects accurate student details and rankings, which are used as the basis for the seat allotment process
On June 17, 2025, the number of available seats for each college, course, and quota was displayed. This information helps students understand the seat distribution across institutions, enabling them to make informed decisions during the Maharashtra 11th admission process.
From June 12 to 14, 2025, admissions will be conducted for the Management, Minority, and In-House Quotas. Students seeking Class 11 admission under these categories must apply directly to the respective colleges, either offline or as per the college's instructions. These admissions take place outside the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). The student who secures admission through this Zero Round becomes ineligible to participate in any further CAP rounds.
The CAP round 1 seat allotment results announced on June 28, 2025 based on students' merit, preferences, reservation criteria, and seat availability. The allotment details is accessible through each student's login dashboard. To confirm the allotted seat, students must complete and submit the admission form online within the specified timeframe.
From June 30 to July 7, 2025, students who have been allotted a seat must log in to their portal and click on the “Proceed for Admission” option. They are required to upload the necessary documents and confirm their admission by paying the prescribed fees. Students who are not satisfied with their allotted seat may choose not to confirm and instead wait for the next round. However, once a student confirms admission, they become ineligible to participate in any further rounds. Those who do not take Maharashtra FYJC admission during this period will remain eligible for the next round, unless they have opted out of the process.
On July 9, 2025, the vacant seats remaining after the completion of Round 1 of the Maharashtra Class 11 admission process will be displayed. Following this, the Round 2 admission process will commence, operating like Round 1, allowing eligible students to apply for the available seats.
