Q. Can you share the details about Lucknow Public School since its inception?

A: The first branch of Lucknow Public Schools and Colleges was established in 1983. We have been in the education industry for more than 40 years now. The brainchild of Dr S.P Singh (Founder & General Manager), Lucknow Public Schools and Colleges have, “Excellence for all, Excellence from all” as the motto. We are on a mission of excellence and have pledged to groom students to multidimensional personalities. Currently, we have approximately 28000 students and 1200 teachers.

Q. What sets Lucknow Public School apart from other educational institutions?

A: Education cannot be defined in competitive terms. Every school and institution is doing noble work. The education system in India has contributions from everyone in the face of innovations. If there is no difference in terms of what is better, the difference comes in what we believe in.

At Lucknow Public Schools and Colleges, we identify and inculcate that students can be whoever they choose to be. Excellence is everywhere in every field and for everybody.

Q. Could you explain the key academic programmes offered at Lucknow Public School? How does the curriculum cater to the diverse needs of students?

A: Lucknow Public Schools and College currently has 15 branches including two degree colleges. LPS schools are CBSE, ICSE, Cambridge International Education and UP Board as well. While the degree colleges offer BBA, BCA, B.Com, B.Com (Hons.), BJMC etc. We have also initiated many other programmes and are in the phase of value addition to them.

Q. What notable facilities are available for students, including classrooms, laboratories, sports, and extracurricular spaces?

A: Lucknow Public Schools and College have various labs, sports facilities and extracurricular workplaces required by students. We are gradually working towards introducing Artificial Intelligence and Developing Labs. We hope and wish that our students, teachers and parents get exposure to AI tools so that they are prepared for a changing world.

Q. In today’s world, AI is creating so much impact in all areas. Teaching and learning habits have also changed. How is technology integrated into the learning environment at Lucknow Public School?

A: It's not just students who are to be made aware and prepared but also teachers and graduates. Whoever is using technology should know both the risks and benefits. With any new AI tool introduced, we ensure that the seniors use and understand it. We have Interactive Flat-Panel Display (IFPD) in almost 60% of our classrooms.

With the school being an important source of information, we try to provide the right information while maintaining balance. This will only happen when teachers, parents, and management come together to support students.

Q. How do schools actively engage with parents and the local community?

A: The entire LPS group of schools and colleges is now a community across India. We are more than 40 years old and have our alumni and their children also contributing to education at our schools. This is really important.

Q. How does the school envision evolving in the coming years?

A: One should work on five areas in their life: health, spiritual awareness, relationships, career, and finances.

Q. What would your suggestions and advice to the students?

A: I want to tell students to try to choose the right mentor, as teachers are there to support you. Be very mindful when you take a step and be in the right community. Students should work on the five areas which are health, spiritual awareness, relationship, career and finances.

If you have completed your class 11 in the commerce stream from ICSE school, then the easiest option for you is to continue class 12th in the same school, as it avoids extra paperwork and adjustment challenges. However, if you wish to change your board, like CBSE , then you will need a transfer certificate, Class 11th marksheet and a migration certificate.

Hello Rohan,

Don’t worry. If your father’s title and birth month are correct in the registration form, then there will be no problem in your board exams or entry to the exam centre.

The school ID card is only for school use, it is not checked in the exam centre. What matters is the details in your ICSE registration and admit card.

Still, you can inform your school to correct the ID card for future records.

Hope it helps !

Hello

A minor typo like writing "ICSC" instead of "ICSE" in your IB ACIO application form is generally not a serious issue, especially since you've already contacted the helpdesk and taken the right step to correct it. If the rest of your details like your marks, year, and roll number, are accurate and verifiable, such a small error is unlikely to lead to disqualification. However, keep any official documents and your helpdesk communication safe for future reference, especially during document verification.
