Chitkara International School, Panchkula, conducted an enlightening session on ‘Mindfulness’ on October 3, 2022 for the students of classes 5 and 6. The goal was to help students maintain their thoughts in a way that would help them pay attention to everything that was happening in and around them. An activity was carried out to assess the students' moods, emotions, and thoughts whenever they are at home or at school, as well as to determine how attentive they are to themselves, which promotes motivation and self-resilience.

The exercise students undertook during the ‘Mindfulness’ session helped them become more positive and in control of their ideas, feelings, and emotions, which furthered the cause. They could also aid themselves in expanding their areas of study. The primary objective of such a session was for the students to practise a concept that increases their mental capacity for joy, happiness, and attention.

Chitkara International School recently hosted Change the Game 2.0 with Expert Indian Filmmaker and Padma Shri awardee, Madhur Bhandarkar on ‘Filmmaking as a Career with Social Impressions.’ The event was held for students from classes 8 to 12 as well as pre-service teachers from Chitkara College of Education, Chitkara University. The workshop enhanced the young filmmakers' enthusiasm and turned out to be an incredibly unforgettable event for everyone from Chitkara Institution.
