As per the Meghalaya board, students are required to score passing marks in all six subjects in the MBOSE SSLC examination from the academic year 2026-27. If a student who appeared at the MBOSE HSSLC exam 2026 scores 80% or above in the examination will be given a star mark (*). It indicates that the student has a score of 80% or more in aggregate. To get a star mark, students have to score at least 400 marks in aggregate in the Science and Commerce stream, while for the Vocational stream, the aggregate mark for getting a star mark is 640 marks.
