Important Instructions:
In Section A, answers must be marked on the OMR sheet using a blue/black ball pen.
Do not use a whitener, liquid, blade, nail, or any correction method on the OMR sheet.
If more than the required number of questions are attempted, only the first required number will be evaluated.
1. Understand the Exam Pattern: The exam pattern requires you to master its three components, which include 50 MCQs worth 1 mark each, 15 short answer questions worth 2 marks each and 4 long answer questions worth 5 marks each. You should attempt only the required number of questions.
2. Focus on Important Topics: The key chapters that need revision are Social Institutions and Indian Society, Social Change and Development and Thinkers. Study the definitions, features and examples of crucial concepts that you should know.
3. Practice MCQs Regularly: The section A evaluation includes 100 objective questions, which require you to select 50 questions for your assessment. You should practice MCQs every day because you need to increase your accuracy for the exam.
4. Write Clear and Structured Answers: For 2-mark and 5-mark questions: Write your responses using bullet points. Include definitions, key concepts, and examples. Your responses need to maintain a direct connection to their specific topics.
5. Revise Key Terms and Sociologists: The important sociologists need to be remembered together with their theories and their associated keywords. The use of correct terminology in long answers will improve your academic performance.
7. Follow OMR Instructions Carefully: The only permitted writing instrument is a blue or black ball pen. Your results will become invalid if you use whitener to make corrections on the OMR sheet.
8. Solve Previous Year Question Papers: The BSEB 12th previous year’s papers should be practised to help students identify recurring question patterns while building their exam confidence.
