Candidates must have passed the English subject at the secondary level. If they fail in English, they must pass it before or alongside their senior secondary examinations.

No Compulsion to Appear in All Subjects: Students can choose to appear in one or more subjects as per their convenience.

Students must take five compulsory subjects and one optional subject:
Compulsory Subjects: Hindi, English, Mathematics, Social Science, Science & Technology.
Optional Subjects: Choose one from Punjabi, Sanskrit, Home Science, Urdu, Physical Education, or Computer Science.
Note - To be declared passed in HOS 10th results 2025, students need to score at least 33% in each subject (individually for theory and practicals.)
Compulsory Subjects: Students must pass five compulsory subjects. The subjects depend on the stream chosen.
Optional Subjects: Optional subjects' marks can replace the least-scored main subject for determining aggregate marks.
Note - Students must secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject and 33% overall to pass the HOS 12th examination. For subjects with practical components, the candidate is required to achieve at least 33% in both theory and practical sections separately.
The students must provide their APAAR ID while filling out the application form.
The scanned copies of photographs and signatures must be uploaded in the correct size and dimension.
For the secondary exam, the students need to upload their birth certificate and school leaving certificate, and for the senior secondary exam, students need to upload their class 10 marksheet.
Once the HOS admission form and fee are submitted, the board will not allow any corrections or refunds to the students.
