Failing in one subject, including Sanskrit, while passing the other five subjects in the MP Board exams, may impact your eligibility for certain courses or colleges.
As per the MP Board, you need to pass in all six subjects to be considered as passed. However, there's a provision for compartmental exams, which allows you to reappear for the failed subject.
For many undergraduate courses, including science, commerce, and arts streams, passing in all six subjects is often mandatory. However, some colleges or universities might consider your application if you've passed in five subjects and failed in one.
Impact on Competitive Exams
Failing in one subject might not directly impact your eligibility for competitive exams like JEE, NEET, or CLAT. However, you'll need to ensure you meet the specific eligibility criteria for each exam.
What You Can Do
1. Appear for compartmental exams: MP Board allows you to reappear for the Sanskrit subject. Passing the compartmental exam will help you secure a pass certificate.
2. Check college eligibility criteria: Verify the eligibility criteria for the colleges and courses you're interested in. Some colleges might consider your application despite failing in one subject.
3. Consult with a career counselor: Seek guidance from a career counselor to explore your options and create a plan for your future studies.
Remember, failing in one subject doesn't define your academic potential. Focus on improving your performance and exploring opportunities that align with your interests and strengths.

Hello Muskan ,
A student can reappear for the 12th grade with a different subjects in private mode . the acceptance of both mark sheets depends on the specific policies of the MP Board and the institutions to which the student applies .
mostly , only one of the marksheets (the one relevant to the chosen field) is considered valid for higher education purposes , while the other serves as additional qualification in different subjects . It's recommended to confirm this with the MP Board directly .
Thank you .
