It is managed by New Ekta Educational Society (NEES) and affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). “Sherwood Convent offers programmes in three different categories—Early Learning, Middle Years, and Senior Years. Sherwood Convent School, Gurugram, organised a visit to Capt. Chandanlal Special School for blind, Behrampur for members of the student council and Interact club on October 17, 2022. Sanjeev Kumar Anand, member of the administrative staff of the blind school, explained to students how things worked there. Students were in awe of the effort put forth by the blind children to learn reading, writing, computer, music, and navigational abilities. They were enthralled by a young girl's sweet melody and the agility with which she played the harmonium. Students brought treats in paper bags, including groceries and old glossy magazines and books for them to practise braille.
