The Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) will release the SOF IMO Level 1 results 2025-26 in January 2026, while the Level 2 IMO results will be tentatively announced in March 2026. The SOF IMO result 2025-26 link is made available on the official website at results.sofworld.org. The level 1 qualifiers are eligible to appear for the Level 2 IMO exam, and the results are disclosed through the official result website.

Students are required to enter their roll numbers to access the Maths Olympiad results. The level 1 Set A, B, and C exams of the SOF International Mathematical Olympiad will be held on November 12, November 28 and December 12, 2025, respectively. The IMO results for 2025-26 include the students' marks and ranks. In the previous academic year, IMO Level 1 results were announced on January 11, 2025, and IMO level 2 results were released on March 20, 2025. How to Check SOF IMO Results 2025-26?
Students can either view the results of the International Mathematical Olympiad 2025-26 online by following the steps provided below, or they may obtain the results from school officials along with Student Performance Reports (SPR).
- Visit the official website at sofworld.org.
- Click on the link that says IMO result 2025-26. (to be available after the official announcement)
- A new window will appear, input your roll number in the specified format 'school code-class- section-roll number'.
- Answer the security math question, and then click "View Results."
- The Math Olympiad results, including section-by-section scores and qualifying status, will be displayed on the screen.
- Save the International Mathematics Olympiad results and print them off for future use.

Maths Olympiad Results 2025-26 Level 1 – Tie Breaking Criteria
When more than one student receives the same mark in the IMO 2025-26 results. Then their scores will be evaluated section-by-section to assign a unique ranking. Marks in the maths olympiad results will be prioritised according to the following criteria:

SOF IMO Cutoff 2025-26
The IMO cutoff marks will be displayed on the official website. When a student achieves the same marks, the decision is made according to the marks obtained section-by-section, considering M4, M1, M2, and M3 in order. The cutoff of the previous academic year is included below for your reference.

What is SPR?
- SPR will be provided to all students together with the IMO Results 2025-26.
- SPR stands for Student Performance Report.
- It provides a thorough evaluation of how effectively a student performed on the IMO 2025 level 1 exam.
- In SPR, there will be 6 sections.
- Students may assess their strengths and weak areas and focus on them accordingly.

What after the IMO Results 2025-26 Level 1?
Students from classes 1 and 2 will be ranked according to their performance in IMO 2025-26 level 1, while those from classes 3 to 12 should prepare for level 2.
Furthermore, they can also improve their weak areas based on the SPR analysis. There is an option for them to check their rank class-wise and by zone.
IMO Awards/ Scholarships
- Each student will get a participation certificate and SPR.
- Level 2 participants will get a merit certificate.
- Awards for classes 1 and 2 will be provided to level 1 winners.
- Level 2 winners will be given International and zonal topper Awards
- Over Rs. 20 Crores will be spent by SOF on scholarships, awards, felicitations, gifts, etc.
- Each winner will be given one award for the IMO exam.
IMO 2025-26 Level 2 - Ranking Criteria
Students are selected for the IMO Level 2 exam if they meet any of the following requirements:
- Criteria 1: Students of each class securing the top 5% rank in the first level. Marks scored in each section of the exam will be taken into account.
- Criteria 2: Top 25 rank holders from each class in each zone.
- Criteria 3: Class topper from each participating school who obtains 50% marks in SOF IMO 2025 level 1.
Note: If marks or ranks clash in IMO Results 2025-26, the achiever's section is given priority, followed by mathematical reasoning, everyday mathematics, and logical reasoning.

At the international level, 36 students in total (12 from each rank) will be selected.

Dear Aspirant,
Science olympiad foundation conducts the IMO (International Mathematics Olympiad ) for classes 1 to 12. IMO exam is conducted in 2 levels. Level 1 is for classes 1 to 12 and Level 2 is for classes 3 to 12 who qualify in level 1.
SOF also accepts individual registration. Each student has to pay INR 50 for those who pay individually.
- They conducted the exam in an online mode for 1 hr.
- IMO level 1 (set A) will conduct on 4th and 5th of December,2021.
- IMO level 1 (set B) will conduct on the 24th and 26th of December, 2021
- IMO level 1 (set C) will conduct on the 8th and 9th of January, 2022.
- IMO level 2 will conduct in January 2022

- View online registration for schools and students on the home page
- Click on "read more". It will direct to the student registration page.
- Click on "Registration by students"
- Enter your school details and student details in the registration form.
- Preview your application and submit it.

Hello there,
Hope you are doing well.
There is only one mode to apply for the IMO exam 2021 i.e. Offline. You have to contact your school authorities for IMO Forms, if your school is registered with IMO then the forms may have already arrived.
It must be remembered that no student can apply for the IMO 2021 registration independently. SOF will not accept any application form directly from students. Students should contact their respective schools for their registration.

Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) conducts the International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) for the students of classes 1 to 12. IMO Level 1 is conducted for Class 1 to 12 students and then the Level 2 is conducted for Class 3 to 12 students who qualify the level 1. Student's knowledge of logical reasoning, Mathematical reasoning, and everyday mathematics is tested through SOF International Mathematics Olympiad. So yes 5th class student can also apply for International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO).
